I was really enjoying a story that had come up as an ad on a game I was playing. I don’t normally install reading apps like this because you end up paying ridiculous amounts for the book but I was enjoying this story so much I decided it might be worth it. Downloaded the app but it didn’t take me directly to the story & when I tried to search for the title it wasn’t listed. Complete click bait waste of time

This app is greedy, i don’t have the patience for it. I am not paying my life’s worth to read one book as desperate as I am. I will not watch 10 thousand adds for coins. Or doing your tedious underpaying tasks. I would watch and add per chapter but that is not an option and quite frankly it would not be worth it. This app is one of the worst. The stores seem good but you’re paying for under 10 pages per coin purchase. I am deleting this nut case of an app, I don’t recommend.

I’m finding titles/books I want to read in JoyLit that I don’t find anywhere else. I would be happier if the cost were more affordable for me.

I’ve now had this app for a couple of years.  The app has changed from being able to unlock one chapter at a time to now having to unlock 2 chapters at a time.  This ensures you have to purchase coins to continue reading.

Books here are a hit or miss.  Character name changes, storylines change, misspelled words , or just random things that make no sense are very common.  So good luck. 

Reading gift, where you earn coins for reading, the timer on this is completely wrong.  I have sat here and read for two hour straight (120 minutes) and I’m credited with reading for only 25 minutes.   I purchased a day pass (1.99) spent the entire day reading (over 10 hours) before being credited with the max of 2 hours worth of reading.  

Reading challenges have never earned more than 77 coins and that’s for 30 chapters

So again, enjoy at your own risk

I have to be fair with this app, they have legitimate writers . The stories are well written, interesting and worth the time . I am an avid reader and a bit of a writer myself , it is a pleasure to read good stories . With that being said , it feels as if the app got greedy , if money is so tight , sell the book. It is very annoying to be paying for almost every single page . That is why I read one story, pay for it and delete the app .
