### 5/5 — clean, addictive, stressfree

*2026-05-14*

it’s clean, addictive, and somehow manages to feel engaging without being stressful. enough thrill to keep me excited but still relaxing to play while actually learning.

i like that unlike apps like duolinguo where lessons can feel like a whole commitment, Jozu is quick and low pressure. it’s the kind of game i naturally want to come back to throughout the day without feeling forced into a long lesson.

as someone japan-born but foreign-raised, its kind of the perfect way to casually review vocab and kill time without it feeling like studying.

the ui is also really calming and thoughtful. just enough flair without becoming distracting.
