Same has good potential this app ### 2/5 — Flickering *2018-11-15, version 1.1.13* Similar problem as reported by others. Then freezes and requires a full delete/ reinstall. For me, this app is being mandated as compulsory (over printed pocket books). The app presents a very real professional risk to paramedics, especially where local guidelines exclude certain indications of medications. ### 1/5 — Not latest version! *2019-08-28, version 1.2.3* I have had trouble trying to update this, emailed the support line to be told that my version is the old one, and it should be 1.3.8 So I have deleted the app and tried to download again but still the old versions 1.2.3! What am I supposed to do????!! ### 1/5 — Battery Hog *2019-07-18, version 1.2.2* Good app but used it for approx 3/4hr to update on 2019 changes and the app ate 44% of my battery! No other issues with my phone and battery health still 100% peak performance. ### 1/5 — Opens and closes *2018-12-14, version 1.1.14* The app loads then immediately goes back to the load screen and goes on and off meaning you cannot use it. ### 1/5 — Can not rely on this app *2018-10-27, version 1.1.12* I have been using the (SCAS) version, and whilst I can praise the content, I am sorry to say that I can not trust this app to work properly. I have had an issue where the app just would not load, and despite closing it and re-opening the app the dashboard screen just flickered. When I sent a feedback email I was told that no other customers had reported any issues and they can not replicate the error to look into it. ### 2/5 — Excellent App if in NHS - Isolates Privates *2023-02-08, version 2.1* This is an excellent app if your working for one of the Trusts. BUT I really feel that only allowing NHS Trust to access this data is both isolating of the raft of private clinical providers that now make up a huge portion of those working pre-hospital. Both Trust and Private providers should be working off the same protocols for the benefit of the patients we care for. By not allowing privates access to this information on the Plus app you limit ability to work seamlessly for the good of the patient. Is there a reason private providers staff can’t access this info ? ### 2/5 — App freezing *2022-01-26, version 1.2.17* The app in general is good when it works but on a few occasions I’ve the past few weeks it has failed to load and the screen has went black. This is despite numerous re-downloads. Not what you need when trying to cross check medication dosages. ### 2/5 — Poor *2019-11-27, version 1.2.4* Every time you need it, the app does not load. You then have to delete and then upload the whole app again for it to work again. Will be buying the pocket book instead! ### 2/5 — Flickering??? *2018-12-03, version 1.1.13* Why does the Dashboard flicker? When working offline it sometimes doesn’t load, why? The flickering Dashboard is a particular problem as I cannot then use the App at all. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Pretty Pleased *2019-11-17, version 1.2.4* Was unsure at first on how to navigate and use the app (EMAS) version. Once I got to grips with it, it is very useful on the road. I would say the only thing that could do with a rejig is when you look at charts etc they don’t fit on the iPhone X (or at least mines) screen so you miss some writing, which in a time critical situ is not something that helps. But overall, app wise, it is an excellent resource. ### 5/5 — JRCALC+ (EMAS) *2019-11-15, version 1.2.4* I’ve been using this app since it was launched within the Trust and have found it to be a real game changer. Always current, with frequent up dates. Trust Bulletins always to hand, rather than having to search folders or notice boards. It is so easy to navigate and great for CPD. I had to contact the developers, once, when I had been told I had missed an App version update. I hadn’t and I was running the latest version, but the team were responsive and helpful. Thanks for saving my pockets from splitting and for providing me with an extensive reference guide. ### 5/5 — Easy to use *2019-11-14, version 1.2.4* Much easier to keep on top of the updates. Having all trust clinical notices in one place is great, though it would be amazing if we could STAR or Favourite particular notices for quick reference in the future? Could this be implemented? App also needs a little optimisation in on the iPhone 13 with gaps at the top and bottom but that’s me being a little OCD. Overall a very useful app. ### 4/5 — SWAST JRCALC APP *2019-09-17, version 1.2.3* Jrcalc plus (SWAST): fantastic app easy to download and use. I really like the combined documents of Trust and Jrcalc, the quick reference dashboard allows me to keep guidelines and drugs on the front page. And as a staff member it’s free 👍🏻 ### 3/5 — Time critical navigation nightmare *2025-01-06, version 2.7* The app itself is excellent when you have the opportunity to look up what you require slow time, however in a pressurised environment the app is not very user friendly. Please can we have a simple layout in the meds section as it used to be rather than how it’s evolved.
