1.1.16 — Your TV shows, organised

• TV shows are grouped properly now. JRDrive reads your folders, so Show / Season 2 / Episode is recognised as one show with its seasons — instead of scattering episodes into "Videos" or treating each season as its own show. Tap a show for its seasons, a season for its episodes.

• Films are recognised properly. JRDrive reads your folders, so a movie without a year in its filename — or with the year only on the folder — is no longer dumped into "Videos". Multi-part rips (CD1/CD2) collapse into one entry.

• Posters with no setup. Shows and albums fetch artwork automatically, no account or key needed. Films still need a free TMDB key, and the app now says so.

• Show and film pages are real pages: large artwork, Play, a shortcut to the file's folder, and the full description. Videos from Media play full screen instead of in a small window.

• Important fix for encrypted remotes: renaming one could lose its PIN and leave it unprotected. The PIN now follows the rename, or the rename is refused.

• Mac: JRDrive sits in the menu bar while it's running, with sync status, Sync Now and Pause All. Video full screen hides the title bar instead of taking over the whole screen.

• Find network storage from the Remotes screen — SMB, NFS, WebDAV, SFTP and FTP servers are discovered and filled in for you. On iPhone and iPad this never worked before.

• Choosing which folders to scan is far easier to reach, folders can be removed on Mac, and adding or removing one rescans right away.

• Fixed: a folder listing that failed looked like an empty folder. It reports the error now.

• Tap a cast member or keyword on a film or show to see what else in your library shares it.

• Two-way sync is now labelled Experimental. It resolves conflicts and propagates deletions automatically — try it on a folder you can afford to lose first.

• Fixed: renaming a remote broke any encrypted or combined remote built on top of it. Those now follow the rename, along with your media folders.

• Duplicate a remote from its context menu — settings and PIN carry over.

1.1.14 — Free up space, and transfers that finish

• Large transfers no longer stall when the screen turns off. JRDrive now keeps the device awake while a transfer or sync is running, so multi-gigabyte files complete instead of freezing part-way.
• Camera Upload can now offload: copy photos and videos to your remote, then review and remove the local copies to reclaim space. Anything shot on this device is never offered for removal, and nothing is deleted until its copy on the remote is confirmed.
• Filter what gets uploaded by age and by where the media came from — useful for archiving older material, or clearing out media received from other apps.
• Audio now resumes where you left off, with its own setting separate from video.
• Hide remotes you rarely use from the Remotes list, with a setting to show them again.
• New sync options: transfer only files older than a threshold, choose whether offloaded originals go to trash or are deleted, and clean up trash left behind by deleted sync jobs.
• Find and remove duplicate files in any folder, and sort Recents by most accessed.
• Apple TV now offers far more storage providers — over 50, up from 15 — including Koofr, Proton Drive, Seafile, ulož.to and many more. Providers that need a browser sign-in still arrive automatically from your iPhone when iCloud sync is on.
• Added Huawei Drive.
• Fixes: encrypted remotes no longer leak filenames to the Files app while locked; travel PIN now unlocks correctly; folder search finds partial matches again; several data-safety fixes in sync verification and trash handling.

1.1.12 — Smarter search, real download control

• Redesigned search: results appear instantly as you type, your current folder is preselected, and deeper matches stream in live. Folders you search are indexed automatically so the next search is even faster.
• Tap a search result to open it right away — closing it brings you back to your results.
• Downloads can now be cancelled mid-transfer, and the progress view shows where to change the download location.
• Save files for offline directly from a file's long-press menu or the ⋯ menu in the viewer.
• With iCloud sync on, your remotes now arrive on your other devices — including Apple TV — with credentials intact (secured by iCloud Keychain, end-to-end encrypted).
• Fixed a crash when picking a remote while setting up a sync job on Mac.

1.1.10 — Smoother video on Mac + reliability fixes

• Hardware-accelerated video on Mac. Video now decodes on the GPU and plays smoothly, fixing reports of a black screen (with audio) on some clips — especially HEVC. Falls back to software decoding automatically if a clip needs it.
• No more crash on launch with an encrypted rclone.conf. If your configuration is protected with a password, JRDrive now unlocks it on import instead of failing to start.
• Fixed a launch crash that could happen when two remotes had the same name.
• Mac playback fixes: no hang after a video finishes, arrow-key navigation keeps working after you close a player, and seeking no longer stalls.
• "Synchronization paused" in the Files app now recovers on its own after you unlock an encrypted remote or start a trial / subscribe.
• Saving a file now shows download speed alongside progress, and the file list refreshes right after a copy.
• Additional stability and security hardening.
