JRMCでは別々のアルバムになっているのがJRemoteは一つのアルバムにまとめられている。他のアプリも使用しているがJRMCと同様に区別されている。
アルバムを判断するのにタグのアルバム名のみで判断されているのでは？
アルバムアーチストも一緒に判断しないと同じアルバム名なんて当たりまえに存在する。
是非、改善をお願いしたい。

Been using this app for many years. Great overall interface and reliable for home media playback.  There are a few things that could take it to another level:

1) Fix the quirks in the UI. Particularly on iPad, the floating playback controls at the bottom  
are too high up and there is a large gap with whatever you are browsing behind it. Should be closer to bottom with no way of clicking anything accidentally behind it. The close out playing now list on the right also partially covers up this controls at bottom. 

On the iPhone, when you click into a list of tiles, there is a 1+ inch gap at the top of the screen before the list of files are shown. Looks odd and doesn’t happen on iPad. 

The folder icons look old school and should either be fanned cover art or fronting more modern looking. 

2) While CarPlay support technically works, it is super slow to load, navigate and play audio files. Also the process for connecting should be streamlined so essentially the app can run in the background on iPhone, and all the user has to do is open the app in the CarpPlay interface and ‘it just works’. 

3) Would love to see offline storage and playback options. Media Center on windows does not sync with iPhone so a way to do that with JRemote would be amazing. There is another app that works with Media Center that does this, buts it’s cumbersome to use and the overall polish of JRemote is lacking. 

4) Finally there is no HDR video playback support. There are many other iOS apps that have offered this for years including Plex and Infuse.

Overall, great app for controlling Media Center remotely from an ℹ device. 

Would be a big improvement to be able to shuffle the list of songs presented when you get search results. Make the results a temporary playlist you can shuffle, sort, drag-and-drop song order and be able to save the resulting playlist.

With the release of IOS 26 my mini iPad running the latest JRemote, the app crashes every time I tap the now playing arrow (top right of the screen). No problem with my iPhone after IOS update.

I’ve only had a few minutes with this app but already it is a benefit to my aging bones. It works very well, professionally integrated to JRiver it performs naturally. I would like to see a more white text when in dark mode as it can be a little difficult to read the grey text.

had this for ten years, including the retired version. generally solid, if unexciting app. Been a long time waiting for updates, so its a shame to discover the new feature isnt very exciting for audio fanatics like me and its no longer solid. it wont stay connected to its own server, while 8player, bubble, and MConnect all can.

Jremote is great but the latest version does not work on iPads. It conspicuously does not ask for local network access and does not show up in Privacy & Security / Local Network in settings. Consequently, it cannot connect to Media Center servers. Comparatively, it works fine on iPhones with iOS.

JRiver is a product without peers, but this app goes through battery charges like a knife through hot butter. I can’t imagine why as it is not actually playing the music or anything but I can’t have it running all day without having the tablet plugged into a charger.

Une excellente appli, d’abord d’un point de vue sonique, ensuite d’un point de vue pratique. Elle permet d’exploiter pleinement Media Center, avec le plus d’intégrer les livrets d’album en pdf, ce qui est très apprécié. Je regrette en revanche - d'où l’étoile en moins - de ne pas pouvoir mettre en favoris des albums de ma discothèque pour les retrouver facilement. C’est possible pour les pistes avec le classement par étoiles, mais pas pour les albums. 
Sur une prochaine mise à jour ?

A recent update fixed the problem of cover art (when in large view) was not changing when the song changed. Yeh!

Here's another idea for improvement: When you search and pick an artist, you are then able to play all the songs by that artist. However, there's no control over the order of the songs. They just play through one album after another. Would be nice to have a shuffle button to mix up the playing order. Or maybe even better, create a temporary playlist where you could drag songs into the desired order. Then even more better, be able to name and save the resulting playlist!

I have a problem since I updated my JRiver app from JRiver 27 to the new version 31. I have imported new media (mostly music) to my new version. But JRemote still only reads from my JRiver 27 libraries. So I have still been importing the music separately to JR27. Previous updates from earlier JR versions have never been a problem. I never had this issue when I upgraded to JR 27 from JR26.

I am trying to describe it over here because this bug was introduced a few years ago and was not fixed yet(version 3.45). Here is how to reproduce it:
Pick an Album(let’s call Album M) a click on a track(let’s call it X). This track will start to play. After that, pick the same Album(M) and click on a different track(let’s call it Y). This track will start to play.
Now, if you click on the track X again, JRemote will display a pop up informing track X will play, but track Y keeps playing. No mather how many times you click in track X, track Y will keep playing. 
I tested another app called MO 4Media and it works fine, but the interface is not polished as JRemote. 

I really want to use JRemote, but this bug is really annoying.

Please take a look at this bug.

The description is misleading. The app is not a full remote at all. It does what JPanel does and little more. I was expecting, among other features:
- to be able to use the television feature
- to see the streaming bookmarks I added to the streaming menu
- to be able to adjust Options without going to the computer 
None of these and other features I was expecting are available 
OR
if they are available are hidden in a thread somewhere on a bulletin board and not readily accessible. 
I thought I would have something resembling the standard menu structure but instead have essentially JPanel with the ability to turn off the computer. 
In brief, a waste of money and subsequently time in trying to search on line to retrieve instructions and fixes. 
Time and money, indeed life is too valuable for essentially no value added software. JRiver Media Center is good. JRemote is not.

I use it in my old Ipad4 with a black theme. Now, when I start the app, it shows a distorted logo with a white background. Please remove this ugly thing, or just let us choose if we want this ugly logo with a white background when starting the app in the settings.

This JRemote app is horrible. It continuously causes JRiver to crash (which by the way crashes enough on its own), its usability is terrible. Not worth a $1.00 let alone $10.00. Gonna try Audirvana and Roon but so far Apple Music wins.

I had no problems prior to version release 3.34. It seems this update was for only JRMC 27 users. I use it strictly for audio. So I did not need that release. I began to have intermittent problems with locking up, not being able to change to another song while one was playing and loosing connectivity. Being intermittent I put up with it. Now the new version update 3.35 is absolutely the worse. It now locks up incessantly and I prefer the dark theme and no matter how many times I choose it it reverts back to the light theme whenever I reopen jremote. I have tried to get some help from their JRiverWiki blog which is atrocious unless u are a computer expert. It is not easy to navigate and get help. I wish there was a way to revert back to version. 3.33 where I had no problems and it worked flawlessly and have a way to choose if you want an update and install only if you want or need to.

I use this over 6 years and am fully satisfied. I love to have full control over JRiver on Windows and to control everything with my iPad Pro. But one critic point. There was the function to use JRemot in theatre mode to swipe to various sections, even to shutdown the laptop. Since a couple of month this does not work any longer. Known issue? Please give a feedback.

Cannot speak highly enough about this app.  It allows me to relax in my recliner and not just have perfect control of what’s going on on my PC but I can edit entries as new ideas come to me.  In this regard my only complaint is that ampersands (“&”) are not accepted. Small issue, to be sure. 😊

I have been using the JRiver media server for several years to stream music from a large digital library on my local server. The files are large (CD quality and above) and they stream flawlessly to my audio system. The JRemote app is the ideal companion for the server, I just dial up the music I want to play, relax and enjoy.

I recently upgraded my Media Center license to “Master” license and this remote app was a main deciding factor. One can tell a lot of thoughts and ideas went into the app and it’s been a joy to use it. Thank you for maintaining the app over the years and wish the team the best !

Having spent a good amount of time using JRiver, Audirvana, and Roon (among others), I ultimately decided to stick with JRiver. (As an aside, they all sound the same to me - which is to say great - but I know there is ongoing debate about this). Sure maybe the UI is not as polished a Roon, or as lightweight and familiar as Audirvana, but you can do so much more! And as for JRemote, I really don’t understand all the criticism. The app has always worked great for me and does everything that it claims to do, and does it well. It’s quick and sleek. Not nearly as steep of a learning curve as the desktop application. I recommend JRemote. Give it a try.

An excellent app for listening to all my NAS music via JRiver Media player. It also work great as a remote to control the music fro other zones where I might be playing the music. The Cloudplay lists are getting better and so easy to download onto Media Player and then they appear on this app. Would be good to include the cloudplay on this app so you could stream directly. Otherwise love it. Have used it in my car and can access all my sounds stored on my NAS.

I’ve used iPhone JRemote in combination with JRiver on PC in both zone modes for a few years now and see a matured, stable product. Good usability and quite intuitive. One important thing is missing: the ability to attach quick notes to tracks/albums and easily retrieve them. Perhaps for a next version?
