But the Facebook authentication is very buggy, and frequently interferes with access. Please add dark mode. Please only show people in the distance range I selected. Instead of asking me to subscribe and pay, make the app good, and people will do that of their own volition. Look under “most recent” reviews not “most helpful” Positive reviews are fake marketing. Read them. The app has been broken for years. When you swipe “no” it will continue to show you the same profile 6-7 times and doesn’t move on until you close the app. They also make you swipe through ads over and over again because the app gets stuck but I think it’s done on purpose. They will also send notifications as though you have a match and when you open the app there’s no new match. Sometimes you close the app and it’s still stuck on the same profile you declined. They all come from Italy, they are all doctors or vets, and barely writing in proper English. I reported their profile and I was reported as well for calling them out. Please improve your screening system. They will make you wipe through ads over and over again as though the app is stuck but it’s done on purpose. They will send notifications as though you have a match and when you open the app there’s no new match. And not in a good way. *2026-03-24, version 6.7.13* This app is incredibly glitchy, sometimes swiping left, just brings up the exact same profile again, even with a re-launch. Not sure if it’s a lack of users, but I ran out of potential matches very quickly within a 20 mile radius and an age range of 15 years. Also, sometimes the men write a single phrase or sentence, or nothing at all, and many of the profile seem to be extremely out of date or unverified. ### 1/5 — Catfish’ing central *2026-03-14, version 6.7.13* The majority of the men’s profiles here are scam/catfish profiles. I’ve reported at least 7 catfish profiles and have emailed Customer Service a few different times re this issue but nothing has changed. Don’t waste your time. You will not meet a Jewish match on this app. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Scam *2026-09-02, version 6.7.13* had a very concerning experience on JSwipe. I matched with what appeared to be a fake profile, and after moving the conversation off the app, the person attempted to extort money from me. This was clearly a scam. I reported the profile, but an app focused on dating and trust needs stronger identity verification and faster action against fraudulent accounts. Users should be extremely careful until JSwipe improves its verification and safety measures. ### 1/5 — My nightmare became true *2026-08-30, version 6.7.13* People can be nightmare in this app. I meet my ex husband at Jswipe. We got married and have child together. In divorce he took my child away for almost 2 years. He ruin my life and I regret every second that I met him. I couldn’t send messages or anything. I thought it might be an internet issue or a bug so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, only for it to not even let me sign in. I tried to go to the website for support only to find the website domain no longer exists. Did the app shutdown? Also now I can’t message her anymore and I never got her contact or anything. ### 1/5 — Scammers and old profiles *2026-07-06, version 6.7.13* Almost all the matches I’ve ever had have been scammers! It’s really easy to spot them that at this point the app developers are choosing not to do anything about it! Users generally don’t fill out their profiles past 3 pictures and that’s it. Old profiles are not swept very often. Sometimes profiles are duplicated. App breaks down on a regular basis. There’s just not a big enough pool of users to justify the outrageous price for premium! ### 1/5 — Bots and unactive accounts everywhere *2026-07-06, version 6.7.13* The only people I have managed to match with have been bots or fishers using pictures of random online models on their profile. I had this app for 6 months looking for an actual connection and I got zero of that from anyone real.
