I held back one star because it could use improvement and an update to be a bit more user friendly. Whenever I leave the app and then come back, I have to find the place I left off because it refreshes. It would be great if I could come right back to where I left off. An example would be in the book of Judith. I came back only a few minutes later to continue reading and the app had to refresh. I found my place and read a few more chapters and then set my phone down. Particularly Enoch 88:3 and it used the word sexual. So I began to think is that word used in the Bible? And it is not. So that leads me to believe that this is a modern translation of these books. I was under the impression that theses books would be in the original translation like the 1611 KJV. Wish I could figure out audio *2026-07-11* Update. I’m still thrilled with the app with one exception. Please help with using audio. When I push the speaker it shows it should be reading it but I hear nothing. I put headphones on just in case it needs those. Nothing. What am I missing? I use this app daily and the search option within each book multiple times a day. This app gives me quick access to the historical timelines and helps me quickly connect the dots on events in the past and to come. Very useful app and I keep learning more about it’s features daily! As you study, you will notice things omitted from the historical Bible to keep you under the control of organized religions. There is so much more that we all need to hear. It will help your faith to grow. God would not have included these books if He wanted to keep us from the knowledge they offer. There are a lot of voices to choose from but there are all "siri" sounding very mundane and artificial, that's my only complaint, but for a free app, it's the best one I've found so far, and the voices are tolerable, just wish it were more natural sounding.
