I purchased the older boxes second hand and when I called in with an issue with connecting a second device they had it fixed in a couple days. The app works well, easy to use and has plenty of features. Well worth it for anyone that struggles with helping a loved one that has issues with controlling their TV. You can fix issues remotely, which saves a bunch of time and quickly gets the tv back up for your loved one. ### 3/5 — Helpful, but… *2026-04-06* Needs work on camera sensitivity in low light, in addition to motion detection in any light. I have full hours where it tells me there was presence in the room, but there are no photos attached to that summary time. This has very spotty customer service; I’ve opened 2 tickets and have heard nothing back for at least 2 months now. The “all in” option seems like a good deal, but not if I can’t get specific info that the service indicates I will be getting with even the basic option. ### 5/5 — Game changer for my father! *2026-03-16* This has been a wonderful asset in helping my elderly father from afar. He cannot see anymore or operate a remote correctly. He’s able to turn on and off and I can jump on and help at anytime. Also I love being able to see him on a video call anytime I want. It’s given me so much peace of mind also being able to pop on and ensure his safety. ### 5/5 — Lifesaver! *2026-02-12* My mom could no longer operate her remote control without frustration. Television is her main entertainment. This device has changed everything. I can now operate her tv remotely. I had no idea that I could also “drop in” to check on her and communicate with her visually and audibly through her tv. It’s amazing. She’s safer and happier. I’ve had it for a month and it has saved me already hours and hours of walking through how to work the tv on the phone with my mom. A total lifesaver with so much more! I love the messages, video calls, the ability to drop in, and reminders that literally keep her from watching tv bc they are in the way- she can’t miss them. 😆 BRAVO!!!! ### 5/5 — Reminders / Messages *2026-02-03* I live a state away and JubileeTV let’s me post recurring reminders like medication reminders. It also lets me post a message about appointments they might have. They have one button to dismiss or I can do it remotely ### 1/5 — Too many thumbs up/down *2026-01-08* Right when I needed to address my dad with ALZ getting frustrated the app requires a thumbs up or thumbs down selection. If you select thumbs down the keyboard locks so you can’t get to the submit button. Then you have to restart your phone to start over. Had this happen twice as my dad was trying to pull cords out of the tv. Normally the app functions well, but when I needed it most it sucked. Purely because of the required rating. I already pay to use. Don’t require me to rate. ### 4/5 — Very helpful w Alzheimer’s patients *2025-10-14* This app has been priceless for us! My mother-in-law has advanced Alzheimer’s, and it’s made a huge difference. It’s super convenient to control the television — which used to be a major issue — and to check in on her. It’s also been very helpful for understanding what she’s trying to say, since we can see her on the screen and what she’s looking at. The only downside is that the TV volume is so loud, it’s hard to hear conversations w caregivers. I really wish there were a separate listening device for that. She’s a little spicy so we like to make sure she’s being nice 😂That’s the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. ### 3/5 — Somewhat helpful *2025-06-22* The telescope feature is somewhat helpful as I can see what mom is watching and if she’s having trouble with with changing the channel, but I am unable to change the channel for her using the app (advertised). The video call feature is great. ### 4/5 — Nice but inconvenient account setup for those of us supporting multiple seniors living separately *2025-05-12* Overall nicely done, and the Drop in feature may prove more valuable than I originally thought. I set up my dad who has Xfinity Comcast, as well as Fire stick for the Jme app (Japanese language TV). A HUGE weakness is that for those of us supporting multiple seniors living in separate locations (such as divorced parents), you need a separate email address for each account. Well guess what? For many 80 year olds? The hapless Gen X schlub offspring is going to be the account owner and manager, and we will need to set up an email address for each parent’s account, even if paying with the same credit card (mine) etc. I hope the Jubilee TV people will be able to change the account setup and app interface so that we can log in and then switch between accounts. ## Frequently asked questions about JubileeTV ### What is JubileeTV?
