## What is Judo Timer JQ?

Judo Timer JQ is a contest scoreboard and timer built around the referee's calls. One call, one action: Hajime, Mate, Osaekomi, Toketa, Ippon, Waza-ari, Yuko, Shido. Everything runs on this device — no account, no network, nothing to set up.

SHIAI — THE CONTEST BOARD
• Match clock, scoreboard, golden score and hansoku-make, decided by the rules instead of by you
• Osaekomi keeps its own clock, so a hold survives the end of regulation and resolves before the contest is decided
• Hold results are provisional: 5, 10 and 20 seconds are announced with sound and haptics, then written to the board only once you confirm
• Turn the device sideways for a full-width board the whole mat can read
• Undo reverses compound results exactly — waza-ari-awasete-ippon, hansoku-make, an applied hold — and no clock ever restarts on its own

RANDORI AND TRAINING
• Interval rounds for practice: set work, rest and rounds once
• The app calls each round, so you can stay on the mat with your eyes on the judoka

LIBRARY
• Every referee gesture, next to the action it maps to in this app
• Contest rules read from the live preset, so they are the same numbers the timer uses
• A glossary of judo terms, the kyu and dan grades, and how the sport got here
• Finished contests kept on the device

BUILT FOR THE MAT
• iPhone and iPad, portrait and landscape, with an orientation lock for when the board has to stay put
• Sound and haptics on every call, so you can keep your eyes up
• The clock is timestamp-based: it does not drift, and changing the device clock cannot move a contest
• An interrupted contest comes back exactly where it was, always paused

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No analytics. No advertising. No purchases. No network requests of any kind. Match state, history and settings never leave the device.

LANGUAGES
English, French, Spanish and Russian, switchable inside the app.
