Please fix this because otherwise I love this app! ### 3/5 — Best side gig for college students *2024-03-14* Hiya!!! I absolutely love Juggle and have been a sitter through the app for 5 years. I have loved my experiences as a sitter and have met some pretty great families through my connections of using the app. The founders and their support team are phenomenal with customer service on both ends (parents and sitter). The only issue that I have is that the app is super buggy. Items don’t get added to my calendar properly (times are incorrect). The app sometimes just doesn’t open or like the past 2 days now, it opens with a blank screen :/. I never receive message notifications, I just have a habit of checking the app at least once every 2 days due to the frequency of my sits. I am very hesitant to recommend this service to other sitters simply because of the technical problems of the app. I hope that this comment reaches the team and can hopefully help influence some decisions on app upgrades. ### 3/5 — App needs improvement *2023-08-17, version 3.0.8* I like Juggle in general but the app itself is terrible. Very low tech and frustrating to navigate. A lot of the families are really great and easy going however I did get a family that was quite the opposite and it almost ruined the whole experience for me. I also don’t like the fact that you can’t see the ratings and reviews families give you after a job. It just seems a bit unprofessional in my personal opinion but other than that my experience was decent. ### 3/5 — Seems cool, but… *2023-04-10, version 3.0.8* The app seems cool and well made, but my service area isn’t an option. There’s only like 15 service areas popping up for me which is super strange. ### 2/5 — No available sitters *2022-09-11, version 3.0.6* Does not seem like this app is really active anymore. None of the sitters in my area are listed as available and all their accounts are from years ago. My job sponsors our accounts on this app but it’s clear they didn’t do a whole lot of research on it. ### 3/5 — Lack of transparency in pricing *2022-02-24* I really wish juggle was more transparent in their pricing. The hourly fee they advertise includes a $2 per hour up charge that does not go to the sitter, but directly to juggle. So a parent may think they’re paying the sitter $16 per hour, when they’re really getting $14. There’s no reason for juggle to make more money for an 8hr sit versus a 4hr sit. It should just be a flat fee per booking (which they already do…) They do note that the $2 per hour charge goes to “transaction fees, operations, software development, and support” which again, doesn’t make sense why that’s more money for a longer job vs a shorter one, and I only found this notated on the FAQ page. It’s not mentioned on the page listing rates for various locations. ### 4/5 — Love the app but can always improve! *2021-03-22* I absolutely love being a sitter on this app. It is one of the only babysitting apps that I feel I can trust nowadays with the different features built in. The only thing is that as a Columbus sitter there is a lot of area to cover. It would be amazing if I could set how far I want my sits to be from me to help filter them a bit. I keep getting ones that are up to 25 or 30 miles away, which is a bit much as a college student. ### 2/5 — Great service, horrible app *2021-01-14, version 3.0.5* I have filled out the details twice now on my app and when I click save it deletes and I have to start over! The UI is very poor and small update could easily resolve a lot of issues with this app. Hope to see some improvement soon! ### 2/5 — Love the service Hate the app! *2020-10-01* I don’t have any problems with the people, the app just is terrible. The update glitches all the time! It’s a lot more difficult to navigate and families have said the same thing. I don’t get notifications from when the family closes out the job. Have had so many technical difficulties confirming hours and have reached out to support multiple times. This is the 3rd time in 2 weeks I’ve had problems with the app. The only solution is to delete and redownload the app but it doesn’t fix the long term problem. ### 2/5 — Not loving the changes to the app *2020-07-21, version 3.0.1* I don’t know what happened but this looks like a cheap version of the previous version of the app. ### 2/5 — Great app, awful update *2020-07-06* This is a great app! The perfect, flexible way to make money while in college. However, the latest update has rendered the app completely unusable. It rarely loads and when it does it’s difficult to navigate. I appreciate the option to apply for one job in a series, but the sacrifice of usable was not worth it in my opinion. There was no reason to change the old format ### 3/5 — Love Juggle but a few bugs *2020-01-23* I absolutely love Juggle and have met wonderful sitters through the app. The prices are very reasonable as well. My only issue is that I don’t consistently get notifications that I have new messages and sitters have told me the same thing. This can make it impossible to book someone. I’ve gotten responses days, weeks, even months after sending messages and that just doesn’t work for time critical situations. The local app manager has gone out of her way to help but I emailed tech support and didn’t get any assistance. They just said they didn’t know what was wrong. Also, applications for bookings expire so fast. I often get a reply and then want to discuss more details with the sitter and before I can do that, their application expires! Especially when they are not getting my messages - then I can’t possible finalize things within 24 hours. We received 2 responses - 1 person was moving out of state and another said they were out of town (even though that weekend was listed as available). Not sure if the app is bad or if its something else. I have been a profession child care teacher for over 8 years. I emailed support multiple times throughout the course of a few months only to receive no reply. This app seems like a scam. ### 1/5 — Outdated App That Doesn’t Function *2021-09-14, version 3.0.6* I find Bambino to be much more comprehensive, easier to use, and provides parents and caregivers with more options. If I’m lucky, I’ll find 3 listings a month for actual babysitting. They basically want to pay you $11 to be their child’s teacher. Everything I needed to see (time of booking, location, kids’ ages) were all in one place! After the recent update, I can’t see anything, it’s a mess! My calendar I had set up for 4 months in advance is gone, I have to redo the whole thing. I can’t see reviews anymore or the end time on bookings. The layout looks dated and not clean compared to what we had in the past. On my other device, when I go to log in using my facebook (my email never worked in the first place), I can’t even sign in! My friend told me about Juggle and I don’t know what I ever did without it. I met so many amazing families this summer and made a lot of extra money doing what I love to do. The flexibility of being able to work whenever you want is great.
