### 3/5 — Almost Good

*2026-08-22, version 26.17.2026052103*

The app is not setup smart enough to for example replace one type of milk with another, or with simple water. Same way it’s not setup so you can replace one fruit with another, or peanut butter with almond… etc. Instead you have to say “remove peanut “ which keeps the price the same, instead of offering a replacement, you have to go and “add” almond butter, which now costs additional $$. So in order to do this simple task you can’t order through app , you have to go physically in the store and ask them to do the swap and then they do it for the same price…

### 2/5 — Wonky

*2026-07-11, version 26.17.2026052103*

Not sure why there’s two separate logins for the rewards program and the buy ahead etc.. and the map, there isn’t one with locations. Do better

### 2/5 — Hate the New App

*2026-05-23, version 26.17.2026052103*

Love JG; I probably spent $80-100 dollars here each week for the past eight or nine years. But they absolutely screwed over their loyal customers with the changes to the app they just rolled out. It takes me twice as long to enter an order; I have to constantly log back in and reenter profile information; it requires a lot more concentrated navigation to enter changes to an order and substitutions, and — most damningly — I used to enter my orders into my phone early, putting in the specifications during my morning commute before the locations opened, then I’d just tap “Checkout” when the clock turned to 7am and complete the order immediately. This was great on the train (where you don’t get any reception for minutes at a time and it’s nice to have your order ready to send when you get a signal), or when I’d do the 15-minute drive on weekends to pickup an Açaí bowl and a smoothie. For years, I could enter the order on my way to the car or while waiting on the platform then just tap “Checkout” and “Complete Order” when the clock said 7am, wherever I happened to be on my route, and my order would be just about ready when I arrived on the UWS or Columbus Circle. Now I can’t submit the already-prepped order choices from my car on the way because it won’t let you make your selections till opening and it would be dangerous to have to go through a messy labyrinth of menus and drop-downs to enter all the information, or because the app gives up on you when there’s no reception while riding the subway and you have to start over again. All of which means I won’t be doing this nearly as much anymore. Because someone decided the app needed a cosmetic overhaul that added little utility and just made everything about the user experience worse. I love the food, the servers and workers are all great, but this app is ruining the process and eating up their customers’ time and patience. With rivals constantly moving in around them, I hope some clever executive realizes this is not the kind of gamble you want to take with your loyal longtime fans.

### 2/5 — New Updates Are Not a Win

*2026-05-21, version 26.17.2026051401*

Previous versions of the app were basic but did what it needed to do without much fuss. Now there are more screens to click through and ApplePay option is no longer available which makes ordering on the app a no go for me for now.

### 2/5 — Invalid token request

*2026-05-21, version 26.17.2026051401*

HORRIBLE APP! whatever you guys did to the update as of 5/21/26 I updated my phone yesterday. The new update doesn’t have Apple Pay. I tried to add my card every time I wanna pay it says invalid token anytime I add any card it says invalid token and I’m frustrated because now I have to order through Uber Eats which charger is more and I don’t get my point fix this now. FIX IT!!!

### 3/5 — Mobile orders just sit there

*2026-05-09, version 25.12.2025082901*

The app is great for ordering ahead of time but doesn’t do you much good if the staff doesn’t put it out for pick up. It typically just sits there at room temperature behind the counter piling up with or behind the in store orders.

### 2/5 — Bad store

*2026-03-02, version 25.12.2025082901*

Store worker told me buy some thing or else I would have to leave I was just taking a rest I was born with autism

### 2/5 — Bad Rewards

*2026-01-28, version 25.12.2025082901*

The app works smoothly but the rewards program is awful. Once you reach the max points you only get a $10 reward which doesn’t even cover a smoothie.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2025-09-16, version 25.12.2025082901*

I wrote better apps in college. User & pass that works with the website doesn’t work with the app. Who thought that one up?

### 1/5 — App too confusing

*2025-09-08, version 25.12.2025082901*

Worse app ever used. It took me 30 minutes just to place an order because it’s so confusing to navigate how to change, add or save items. Then after entering cc clicked a button that completely wiped out my cart and it was already done over 3 times. It should not be so confusing I never have these problems ordering anything online anywhere else

### 1/5 — windows 95 level

*2025-08-14, version 24.12.2024091001*

cant login since 2020. won’t allow me to sign up.

### 3/5 — Back/Home???

*2025-06-29, version 24.12.2024091001*

Where the heck is the back or home button? Tip?

### 1/5 — Switch phone app won’t open

*2025-04-21, version 24.12.2024091001*

I can’t log in on my new phone even when I reset my pw. Can only open the online order website on computer. I already complained

### 1/5 — Looks nice but Broken app

*2025-04-12, version 24.12.2024091001*

Keeps saying Invalid Authentication Token. They better not have charged me for 3 of the same drinks…

### 1/5 — Invalid auth token

*2024-09-26, version 24.12.2024091001*

Unable to order anything, stuck in a loop of needing to enter an email, kill the app, still stuck. Why do you need a whole app just to order a juice??? It was so much better before ordering directly from google maps.

### 2/5 — Too many clicks to checkout

*2024-09-19, version 24.12.2024091001*

Make the checkout process more seamless

### 3/5 — Rewards Program Couldn’t Be Worse

*2024-09-01, version 24.10.2024071702*

The açaí bowls are great, but there is zero incentive to chose Juice Generation in NYC. The market is heavily saturated with smoothie stores, and Juice Generation doesn’t help themselves with probably the worst rewards program I’ve ever seen. You have to spend $180 to get $10 off - which doesn’t even cover one smoothie bowl?

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Order history???

*2026-08-09, version 26.17.2026052103*

No way to view orders or well hidden at least! Terrible UI flaw for an app that should allow for order management

### 1/5 — Bring back the old app

*2026-07-07, version 26.17.2026052103*

New app is terrible! Takes 10 minutes to place an order. Was this even tested?

### 1/5 — What were you thinking?

*2026-06-16, version 26.17.2026052103*

What were you thinking when you forced your users to update this app? The new version is vastly inferior. Every stage of the ordering process now takes at least 90 seconds to load, unlike the old, light-weight version which loaded instantly. Is it really crucial to the ordering process to require geo-location and updated graphics? Is it worth it if it enrages the user simply trying to place an order? Can you undo this?!?

### 1/5 — Can’t login with recent app update

*2026-06-13, version 26.17.2026052103*

Reset password and still can’t login using the latest app update. What happened?? FYI - I can place order online with the same login info. Please fix this asap!

### 1/5 — CANNOT PLACE ORDERS

*2026-05-24, version 26.17.2026052103*

This new update doesn’t allow me to place orders anymore. Apple Pay is no longer an available option and whenever I try to add ANY credit or debit card, I get an error message saying “INVALID TOKEN REQUEST” when attempting to complete the order. The app is now useless and I can no longer order ahead of time. Revert back to the previous working version!!!!

### 1/5 — Latest version is worse

*2026-05-21, version 26.17.2026051401*

No there are so many dumb questions, bs upsell attempts and no longer supports Apple Pay. What product people didn't do their homework, because they should loose their failure of a job for how bad this app now is. Fire them.

### 1/5 — What happened to Apple Pay?

*2026-05-21, version 26.17.2026051401*

Much less convenient without Apple Pay. Plus the form to add a CC doesn’t auto populate with cards I saved to Safari. Flop

### 1/5 — Bugs and doesnt work

*2026-05-21, version 26.17.2026051401*

This app has bugs at the payment stage so ordering doesnt work sometimes and the user interface is ugly and its annoying that you’re supposed to pick your pickup time at the start of the ordering process, that should be at the end

### 1/5 — Today's Update

*2026-05-21, version 26.17.2026051401*

Today's update was a terrible idea. Harder to order, reorder and less intuitive. Fix this!!

### 1/5 — lost all my points

*2025-10-04, version 25.12.2025082901*

lost all my points and history

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Needs fix for Protein Substitutions

*2025-09-18, version 25.12.2025082901*

The app serves its purpose but I wish there were options to substitute plant protein for whey without being charged extra for it with the app.

### 5/5 — Love

*2025-01-30, version 24.12.2024091001*

The place in the summer is packed and takes forever but it’s great

### 5/5 — Great experience every time

*2025-01-29, version 24.12.2024091001*

Love the smoothies & juice farms y drinks. Staff have always been friendly & prompt service.

### 5/5 — Best Açaí bowls and smoothies I had!

*2024-08-29, version 24.10.2024071702*

This is always my favorite place to stop for a early breakfast or a snack in the afternoon.
My favorite thing is the Açaí Almond butter bowl.
Always so fresh and delicious.
They never disappoint me!
The location in Long Island city is great and they always open at 7:00am.
Keep up the good work juice generation.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2024-01-10, version 23.18.2023082302*

App is amazing quick easy staff at 109 easy 23rd is Grade A ! Always friendly and quick

### 5/5 — Best Natural Juice chain in the World!!

*2023-02-02, version 22.14.2022090601*

I can truly state that the hot teas (e.g., IMMUNITY ASAP & Cold Warrior), the Fruit smoothies, and the green juices help me breathe easily. I’m asthmatic; and the offerings at Juice Generation truly help to clear my airways. Whenever I get really congested or have a cold, or feel like I’m going to get sick, I’ve noticed over the past 5 years, that Juice Generation puts me on the path to health—Immediately! Thank you for making the best-tasting drinks that support health!

### 5/5 — Great place

*2022-07-15, version 21.54.2021092401*

My smoothie is usually ready by time I get there and the protein knockout is so good.

### 5/5 — Quick and easy

*2022-01-19*

Very easy to use, pictures of everything are helpful, so many delicious choices!

### 5/5 — Busy hours

*2021-10-16*

The app’s great being able to order ahead of time is very convenient however during busy hours the estimated time for the completion of order is incorrect. Also it would be nice if they had a notification sent when the order is ready to be picked up rather than an estimated time. And let’s be real if is busy do not expect your order quick they are human beings not machines. It will be helpful to have some customer support services available or somewhere to summit reasonable complaints

### 5/5 — The Best Stuff Ever!!

*2020-07-13, version 20.15.2020032004*

I love all their smoothies, açaí bowls, shots, fresh juices is the best.
