### 1/5 — Wry poor App

*2022-09-26, version 2.46*

I was not able to save my VIN number in the App and it would not let me get an further. Not even sure why the VIN number is required? Other Apps of this kind only require the vehicle model and license plate number.

### 1/5 — Worst app never works they didn’t even manage to renew certificate

*2022-09-19, version 2.46*

I also usually don’t write reviews but the experience with juice box has been so frustrating. I have 20 of their chargers in my office parking garage but I can almost never use them because the app never works!!! Horrible!

### 1/5 — Trash can’t login or reset password

*2022-09-18, version 2.46*

If you’re considering adding this to your property: don’t.

### 1/5 — App broken

*2022-08-21, version 2.46*

First I'd like to express how annoying the length of the charging cords are. Cannot reach port. Gotta download the app, then enter VIN number, and the app won't allow you to save the VIN. Then you try to charge your truck and it doesn't do anything. There's no phone number on the charging station or this app. No charge on my truck and stranded in Northwestern Montana.

### 1/5 — Worst App in human history

*2022-06-23, version 2.46*

I generally don’t write reviews but this is by far the single worst app I have ever downloaded. Nothing works. It’s not even worth my time to list how garbage this app is.

### 1/5 — App is a joke

*2022-03-26, version 2.45*

I’ve been trying to set up an account for two weeks. Keep getting server errors. 400/500. Forget it.

### 1/5 — Garbage interface, garbage app, did not ever work

*2022-03-20, version 2.45*

See above. This charger never worked after 30 minutes of messing around with the charging station interface and useless app. Nothing worked but they still somehow charged my $6.75 even thought the rate was $2.50/hr and my car never pulled one second of charge. Avoid these chargers wherever possible.

### 1/5 — Junk

*2022-03-18, version 2.45*

App stinks! Unstable and useless!

### 1/5 — Mr buchbut

*2022-03-16, version 2.45*

Very bad system
And most expensive!!!
Not recommend at all !!!

### 1/5 — Can’t log in

*2022-03-14, version 2.45*

Constant time outs, whether you create an account via Apple login, or just email/password. It does send out the email confirmation but after that, it doesn’t work. Not useful at all if you get a timeout and can’t login.

### 1/5 — Can’t login in

*2022-03-07, version 2.45*

Can’t login in to app and charge my car at my building please fix asap

### 1/5 — Unreliable

*2022-02-11, version 2.45*

Too often I can’t even sign in. I get an internal error code or the app times out repeatedly. When this happens I have to scrap my charging plans and just hope the app comes back online at a later time.

The connectivity between the charger and the app is so slow I stand around waiting to get confirmation that my car is charging. If I don’t wait, I might find out later that it never started charging at all.

### 1/5 — Terrible Charging System

*2022-02-09, version 2.45*

The app is horrible. Often times you can’t log in. When you are able to the app will have you re-enter information you already filled out.

Using juicebox in general is bad because the chargers constantly time out after 10 minutes. Sometimes you are notified so you are able to restart the session but often times you aren’t so you often go to pick up a car thinking you have enough charge and you do not.

Customer service is horrible. They take 30 days on average for every response. So a simple inquiry then takes 60-90 days to be resolved.

### 1/5 — Not ready yet

*2022-01-11, version 2.45*

app is buggy. sometimes won’t load up and every charger I go to never works

### 1/5 — Very difficult app

*2022-01-01, version 2.45*

Of the three EV apps (ChargePoint, EVConnect) this is by far the worst! Loading crashed several times. The interface for inputting information was very poorly designed. This was the only app that required a VIN for the vehicle. As of this writing I still have not been successful and have not been able to charge my vehicle.

### 1/5 — Horrible App Horrible Customer Service

*2021-12-10, version 2.45*

As a buyer of a Juice home EV charger about 2 months ago I was informed to download this app because their original app was being phased out .
I have attempted to download the app and but get the message indicating that it’s not available in the US
3 calls to customer service received replies saying check again next weekly it’ll be ready tonight
I asked for a definitive reply when the app was ready for US use. NO RESPONSE
This company has no clue about how to provide helpful customer service
Too bad because the EV charger is a good product but not as feature rich as it could be since they cannot produce the app.

### 1/5 — From bad to worse

*2021-10-02, version 2.44*

The app has always had inconsistencies, and trouble initiating. However, now it won’t even load past the login screen.

### 1/5 — Not accepting any QR codes

*2021-09-24, version 2.44*

Inexplicably stopped accepting my workplace chargers’ QR codes. No tech support # to call. Very frustrating.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Terrible company. Avoid.

*2023-11-20*

Chargers broken, app nonfunctional, customer service “transferred” me, and by that I mean I contacted the right department, was told it was the wrong one, and then was put on hold for 30 min before I just hung up. Insane. Do not use.

### 1/5 — Truly horrible app/EV charging company

*2023-07-15*

These chargers are in my building and the only way to use them is to log into this app every time and then it almost never works. Particularly bad the last few days, but always awful. Why don’t the developers care about customer service at all?

### 1/5 — Very Unstable

*2023-06-12*

Every since the 2023 migration this app has been extremely unstable. At times it sends error codes 401, or I have to continuously delete and reinstall app. Customer service is non responsive and it’s a shame how terrible this app is performing in the EV charging space!

### 1/5 — Error when creating new account.

*2023-04-26*

I keep getting the error - Request failed: bad request (400) when trying to create an account. Cannot go any further.

### 1/5 — Beg your institution to use another service

*2023-04-07*

A sloppy mess of an app/service. Feature poor, poorly constructed and maintained. Incompetent front end/UI/UX as well as backend/server/database side. Broken more often than functional, it seems to update to a new and worse form every couple weeks which introduces novel failure modes. If you require any minimum uptime on your vehicles, look elsewhere for charger management services. 1/5 because there’s no zero.

### 1/5 — Better off using the browser

*2023-03-12*

Seriously this app doesn’t even work. It’s quicker to plug in a Card on the browser. Car sat for 10 minutes while being billed for occupancy but not charging

### 1/5 — Avoid this app

*2023-02-19, version 2.47*

I don’t think I’ve ever actually written a review for an iphone app but this app is so bad that I felt the need to share my experience.

App is very slow with lots of bugs and randomly crashes. The home page always says “Locations coming soon” with no actual listed charging locations even though I’ve been using the same Juice pass charger for 6+ months.

I contacted a support rep. from the company because the app wouldn’t open for weeks. We were emailing back and forth for a couple days trying to figure out the problem and they just randomly stopped responding. couple months later they emailed back saying they forgot about me and were having problems with the app so I wasn’t the only one.

The only reason why I’ve been using this app and their charging stations is because they have them at my work which makes it a convenient place to charge since I do not have a place to charge my car at home. Sometimes I get so fed up with this Juice pass app and their chargers that I go and find a super charger instead on my way home but they are more expensive.

Overall, the app does not function well and the support for the app is very poor. Avoid if possible.

### 1/5 — 401 or 500 error in sign in

*2022-12-19, version 2.47*

Can't sign in and chargers don't work.

### 1/5 — Horrible…

*2022-11-20, version 2.47*

Our local college recently installed Enel X chargers on campus. This app is terrible! I can’t even register for an account. I keep getting “bad request 400 or 500” responses. I receive a “thanks for signing up” email then it refuses to accept the the password. I called the company and got a woman I could barely understand (I speak 3 languages). They said tech support will be calling you - never happened! They actually want to charge for this “service”?

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2022-10-31, version 2.46*

Poor design and I still have a log in issue. Old version of the software has same issues. One star is too much for this app

## Most praised reviews (3 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Very good for what it is for

*2023-03-15*

After reading some reviews I don't think most people know what this app is actually for. Enel X has at least three and I think I just found a 4th app for its chargers.

This app is basically for employees or administrators of company and private networks. It works with the web based dashboard that administrators use to allow users to charge and the various settings.

Important note:
Don't set up your account until an administrator has invited you. If you do, the system won'y let them add you because you already have an account. No biggie, but it requires tech support to move that email over.

Once you are set up it is very intuitive and you can see everything except amps for whatever reason, but most people will be happy to see KWs and time, time remaining, miles added, and battery added.

The screens could be a little prettier, but the app is comparable to most others.

### 4/5 — Sign in fix

*2021-04-16, version 2.41*

Support said the sign in bug will be fixed in the next release next week or so. Looks like new releases coming out steadily.

### 2/5 — Keeps crashing

*2022-10-28, version 2.46*

Every time I try to see other items in the menu the app crashes
