## What is juicy trail?

Cute animals. Tiny planets. One rule: do not touch the fruit.

Juicy Trail is a party game about nerve. You race around a small tropical world and
everywhere you go you leave a trail of fruit behind you. So does everybody else. Touch any
trail — theirs or your own — and you are out. Last one still running wins the round.

The planets are round, which changes everything. There are no walls to hug and no corners
to hide in. A trail you left thirty seconds ago is waiting for you on the other side of
the world, and the gap you are aiming for is over a horizon you cannot see past.

SIX ANIMALS, SIX WAYS TO CHEAT

Every animal has one trick, and each one changes what you dare to do.

MOKO hurls a banana far ahead — a wall that lands where somebody else is already going.
TANGO sprints, but turning gets harder the faster it goes.
KAZOO glides, and trails pass harmlessly underneath.
GLOOP leaps enormous distances, and lands on people.
DOZER belly-flops, and every screen in the game gets a faceful of water.
BAO barges straight through a trail and scatters fruit everywhere.

PLAY HOW YOU LIKE

Alone against bots that genuinely play — they look ahead, cut you off, and take the win if
you let them.

Online with strangers: one tap for a quick match, and a countdown that always ends in a
four-player game.

Online with friends: share a four-letter room code and they are in.

NO ACCOUNTS, NO SIGN-UP

There is no login, no email and no password. Pick a name, pick an animal, play. Your record
is kept on your own phone and goes nowhere else.

Seven planets. Six animals with different powers. Rounds that last about a minute and arguments that last longer.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.8 — 2026-09-09

The animals have voices, there is a planet twice the size of any other, and eight of you can play on it.

SOUND • Every animal makes its own noise when it uses its power. Real recordings — the tiger and the bird sound for as long as you hold it down; the monkey, frog and seal call out once as they go. • It no longer stops your music. The game plays over whatever you already had on. • Everything the game used to play has gone: the beeps, the stings and the synthesised splats. The six animals are what you hear now.

JACKFRUIT GIANT • A new planet, and the one you start on: snow at both poles, a desert, grassland, and an ocean across the middle with a volcano standing in it that erupts. • A red cabin with a sleigh and nine reindeer at the north pole, frozen lakes at the south, a pyramid out in the sand, and a sign on a mountain. • Snow falls over the ice caps and nowhere else. • EIGHT PLAYERS, here only — every other planet still plays four. Private rooms hold eight too.

IT RUNS PROPERLY NOW • A long-standing stutter is gone. It was the audio engine, awake and working every moment of every match whether or not anything was making a noise. • Sideways layouts fit on the screen.

ONLINE • Names float over the other players, so you can tell who is who while you are running. • Change your name from inside a room, without leaving it and losing the code. • QUICK MATCH gives you a new game. It could drop you back into the one you had just walked out of, several rounds in.

THE FIRST FIVE MINUTES • The tutorial asks your name first, teaches the three controls, shows you what a trail does to somebody — and lets you try all six powers before you play. • The characters go by their animals: MONKEY, TIGER, BIRD, FROG, SEAL, PANDA. • Flick up to jump works on a fresh install. It had been failing on the very first run and nowhere else.

SMALLER THINGS • The panda's Barge lasts half again as long and comes back twice as often. • The frog and the seal no longer flicker between the ground and the air mid-jump, and the tiger settles out of a sprint instead of snapping. • The monkey's banana leaves his hands rather than his feet. • Sprinkles on the Dragonfruit Donut.

### 1.6 — 2026-09-07

Real recordings — the tiger and the bird sound for as long as you hold it down, the monkey, frog and seal bark once as they go. • Everything else the game used to play has gone. The beeps, the stings and the synthesised splats are not missed, and the six animals are what you hear now.

JACKFRUIT GIANT • A new planet, and the biggest by a long way: snow at both poles, a desert, grassland, and an ocean across the middle with a volcano standing in it that erupts. • There is a red cabin with a sleigh and nine reindeer at the north pole, frozen lakes you can skate at the south, a pyramid out in the sand, and a sign on a mountain. • EIGHT PLAYERS, here only. Every other planet still plays four. Rooms hold eight too, so a private game on Jackfruit Giant seats everybody.

ONLINE • Names float over the other players, so you can tell who is who while you are running. • You can change your name from inside a room now, without leaving it and losing the code.

THE FIRST FIVE MINUTES • The tutorial asks your name first, then teaches the three controls, then shows you what a trail does to somebody — and ends by letting you try all six powers before you play. • The characters go by their animals: MONKEY, TIGER, BIRD, FROG, SEAL, PANDA. • Flick up to jump works on a fresh install. ### 1.5 — 2026-09-05

Jump twice as often, and trust it when you do.

JUMPING • The wait between jumps is a third of what it was. A jump is something you reach for now, not something you ration. • And it does not lie any more. If you are drawn above the fruit, you are over it — there was a gap between looking clear and being clear, and it is gone.

TWO THINGS THAT COULD COST YOU A WHOLE MATCH • Your SECOND game in a sitting works. Finish one, go back, start another, and you could find yourself unable to move for the entire match. • Opening the menu while waiting in a room no longer leaves you unable to steer once the match begins.

EASIER TO READ • AVOID STEPPING ON FRUIT is big enough to actually read on the way into a round. • The scoreboard in the corner is a purple berry instead of a grey box. • Winning a match now looks like winning one. • Monsoon Prune's waves rise to sharp peaks with whitewater breaking along them.

### 1.4 — 2026-09-04

A new planet, a sea that actually moves, new fruit on four animals, and bots that stop building walls.

A NEW PLANET • PINK GUAVA. A pink world with a pale sand beach, a blue sea over a third of it, and beach umbrellas, towels and surfboards along the shore. On the far side, across the water, there is a little town: a street with pink houses down both sides and pink cars parked on it. Bright midday sun, which no other planet has. • Pineapple Peaks has left the rotation to make room for it.

THE GROUND MOVES • Blueberry Deep is now MONSOON PRUNE. The water swells and rolls underneath you, with foam running along the crests, and everything standing on it rides the swell. The silver platforms are gone — it is open ocean the whole way round now. • Dragonfruit Dream is now DRAGONFRUIT DONUT, with white icing across the top. • Mango Volcano's cones are finally the same colour as the planet they stand on.

NEW FRUIT • Tango leaves halved coconuts and Bao leaves lychees — both new. • Dozer takes the watermelon. • Kazoo's blueberry is a blue raspberry, which looks like a berry instead of a hexagon.

BOTS THAT DO NOT BUILD WALLS • They cross your trail instead of running alongside it, so the arena stops filling up with corridors. • They look much further ahead, so they stop winding themselves into smaller and smaller circles. • They can see when they are sealing themselves in, and they hop trails rather than following them.

SMOOTHER • Trails are far cheaper to draw. Watching somebody else after you have been knocked out used to run at about ten frames a second; it does not now. • Flick up to jump at half the distance it used to ask for.

ONLINE FIXES • A player leaving no longer makes everyone else invincible, and no longer leaves their animal standing in the middle of the arena. • REMATCH starts the game when the last person presses it, and stops pretending to work when the connection has already gone. • Your animal's power is your animal's power. Tango threw bananas, Bao's shove could not be seen by anybody but Bao, and Dozer's launch had gone missing entirely. • The pause menu shows the room you are actually in.

ALSO • Pick a different animal from the results screen, before the rematch. • The two ways into an online game are on screen in landscape instead of below the fold. • One row per player on the scoreboard, not two. • The tutorial ends by telling you what the game actually is, with the real animals and the real fruit they leave.

### 1.2 — 2026-09-01

Smarter opponents. The bots have been rebuilt. They cross your trail instead of running alongside it, so the planet fills with gaps to dive through rather than walls you can't jump. They hop trails, they roam instead of winding into circles, and they're measurably better players.

Dragonfruit Donut. The old Dragonfruit Dream is now a proper donut, with white icing across the top.

Pick a new character between matches. Change who you play as on the results screen, before the rematch — online or against bots — with the animal shown as you choose it.

Fixes. Jumping responds to a much smaller flick. A player leaving no longer freezes the round for everyone else. Dozer's belly flop looks right. Scoreboards, menus and results now show each animal's face instead of an emoji, and the layout no longer breaks sideways or on a wide screen.
