### 4/5 — sharing with doctor

*2023-07-22, version 1.49.0*

this app is amazing but it would be nice if i could have this as a chart to be able to show my provider all of the things the app was able to track for me.

### 3/5 — Password change

*2023-03-25, version 1.48.2*

Decent app but resetting password does not work. I’ve requested several password changes from inside the app, they send the email, I click the link within said email, it brings me back into the app, and nothing happens.

### 4/5 — Cool approach!

*2023-03-20, version 1.48.0*

I’ve just started using this today and I’m excited to see where it goes. I would love to see dark mode though, as I really hate apps with white backgrounds, especially for late night or early morning usage.

### 3/5 — almost perfect

*2023-02-23, version 1.48.0*

this app would be perfect—if i was able to add more than one condition! otherwise i enjoy everything about it.

### 3/5 — So far so good but…

*2022-12-30*

I have it tracking my headaches and depression. But for depression it only asks my mood and how much energy I have, nothing else. But gives me a questionnaire for my headaches. I went into settings and couldn’t find anything for adding more depression tracking. Plus I think it would be better to track things like anxiety too? But I’m limited to 2 and I don’t remember seeing it.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thank you for your feedback! If you track two conditions you receive longer questionnaires for both conditions alternating every week. So if you had a questionnaire for your headache already, the one for depression will come soon.
Unfortunately right now you can only track two conditions but we are working on integrating a solutions for an indefinite number of conditions to track. Stay tuned!

### 3/5 — 2 tiny suggestions!

*2022-09-16*

As someone who struggles with bipolar for years and works in the mental health field, I would like to suggest Juli asks about my quality of sleep as well as my level of movement. Sleep is a prominent factor in wellness and symptom management. Also, many of us could benefit from daily movement. I know I would personally be more inclined to go on more walks or hold yoga poses if I was asked if I had any exercise today, even if it was light.

**Developer response:** Dear Victoria, thanks a lot, great input! We are actually looking into both, sleep detail and movement, but it might take a while until this is fully implemented in the app. In the meantime we may make you aware of our individual tracking feature, where you can track anything you deem relevant to your condition. You find the additional tracking options in the profile section. Just click on the little icon in the upper right hand corner of the data dashboard.

### 3/5 — Missing Journals

*2022-07-13*

As a simple as it is, I really do like this app. I used to journal a lot and have stopped but with Juli, I’ve been more consistent with my journals.

My only issue would be that I can’t seem to access my previous journals and luckily I realized this after only a couple days of journaling but I personally like going back and reading my entered so not having the option look back at them or edit them is a little bothersome.

I enjoy that the app gives me an easy way to journal that feels more like ranting to a friend but again, I hate that I can’t seem to read my old entires.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thanks so much for your feedback. We would really like to get in touch with you directly to understand better what's going on because actually you can go back to previous journal posts and edit or delete them. You must have come across a bug that we would love to fix. Please send an email to info@juli.co.

### 4/5 — Good app… few fixes needed

*2022-06-19, version 1.39*

Good concept and app, sometimes the journal entries dates get off which needs some fixing but overall thanks for creating this app.

### 3/5 — Good idea

*2022-03-26*

I want to love this app. I love the idea of it and I like the interface a lot. My only issue is that it only connects to Apple health… it would be way more convenient if it connected to my Garmin. I’m sure others who have a Fitbit or other fitness watch would agree. Since Garmin doesn’t write heart rate data or menstrual tracking into Apple health, it doesn’t get put into Juli. Even just having the option within the app to track your period would be sufficient. It seems imperative in an app that tracks your mood and energy to also track your menstrual cycle. I’m hopeful these options will be provided in the future! For now I’m going to stick it out and use what features I can. Love the idea guys, thanks for what you’re doing!

### 4/5 — Great Asthma Tracking App

*2022-01-28*

I never write reviews but I really like this app and want to see it get better. I use it for my asthma tracking and journal. There are a few things that don’t make sense though or aren’t useful.

The moods could use a bit more explaining. Is it my general mood? Or is it how my asthma feels?

I don’t drink coffee but I do drink tea, so I never know how to answer that question. Maybe it would be better to ask “How many drinks containing caffeine did you have.”

How often I had shortness of breath doesn’t make sense. You could be short of breath all day. I think this question needs to be different, like how often did asthma stop you from getting a things done. Then have “none of the time” “some of the time” etc.

The outside one, I feel should give you a choice like 0-15mins, 15-30mins, 30-60, 60+

When the medication notification pops up it should give you a choice to check it off that you took it.

I love the journal aspect. That really helps. Overall great app! Just want to see it better!

**Developer response:** Thanks for the great input - that is highly appreciated and will definitely be taken into consideration for further development! In terms of tracking you might want to check out our individual tracking options. You may define there whatever you want to track or think is relevant for your condition. (I am also a tea person and track my tea consumption). Just go to the profile section (little icon in the upper right hand corner) and choose "Additional tracking".

### 3/5 — I can only see the chat

*2021-12-30, version 1.26.0*

I don’t understand why I can only see the chat and nothing else. Am I doing something wrong?

### 4/5 — Hat Potential

*2021-12-17, version 1.24.0*

Ich kann mein workout und andere Dinge nicht tracken, während es meine Schlaf Daten automatisch hat. Mehr individualisiertes Tracking wäre cool.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No features

*2022-07-08, version 1.40*

I don’t know if it’s a bug or a change, but the only option I have is the juli Chat to answer a few times a day how I feel, but I have no record of my wellness in the past time.

What happened to the other options that are shown in the store photos?

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2022-05-19, version 1.36.1*

This app always crashes and never seems to ever load anything on the screen

### 1/5 — Sad

*2022-04-22, version 1.34.0*

Had it for a week and all its done is ask me one question every once in awhile about how I’m feeling and replies with “I’m sorry/I’m glad you’re feeling that way” depending on how you answer. Thank you juli so helpful I feel sooooo much better /sarcasm

### 1/5 — Requires an account

*2021-12-18, version 1.25.0*

Yet another health app that requires an account, except they don’t tell you until after you’ve installed the app. This is ridiculous.

Deleted.

### 1/5 — Can’t recommend

*2021-12-01, version 1.23.0*

Was looking to track my mood and this app is so complicated. I can’t figure out how to input any of the data it shows on the dashboard. Seems to do a lot yet I can’t seem to use its basic features. I assume it’s just a data miner.

Just an opinion.

Developing anything is hard.

### 1/5 — Broken app

*2021-11-29, version 1.22.0*

For me it doesn’t work at all. I have an iPhone 12, fully updated. I try to create an account, the privacy page comes up but it’s blank. Can’t do anything else. I tried deleting and redownloading. Nothing. :/

### 1/5 — Bad app

*2021-09-09, version 1.17.1*

Honestly it’s kinda annoying like all these things it said it would do instead I get asked a question once a day just to here oh sorry you feel that way. And that’s about all this app has to offer ngl

### 1/5 — Meh

*2021-08-01, version 1.14.1*

It was essentially a journal and ‘did you take your meds?’. Zero feedback or anything useful. That’s what I have a brain for. Found it pointless, deleted after 3 days. Sorry devs.

### 2/5 — What is this supposed to do

*2022-12-15*

I originally saw this marketed as something to help with managing mental illness. Then when I downloaded it I saw you could also put in chronic pain as something you would like help with. I do suffer from chronic pain, but my intention was to use this for the mental illness part. Depression, anxiety, etc.

But all this thing seems to care about is my chronic pain it’s all the chat bot talks about and nothing about the mental illness stuff. I input a day and night medication reminder, and that’s all it does is ask me if I took those.

The way your website talked about this and the reviews you would think this would be Woebot level types of technology breakthrough. This is just a bland bored mood tracker that a sticky note pad and my phone alarm already accomplish. I’m disappointed. It’s been a week now I’m still waiting for it to do more than just the medication reminder and ask me all sorts of unproductive questions about my pain level.

**Developer response:** Hi there, juli does give you the option to track either one condition or two conditions at once. So you could indeed track chronic pain and a mental condition like depression. But it looks to me as if you accidentally did not choose to track both conditions during onboarding because you should definitely receive questions and tipps regarding your mental health if you chose that as a condition to track. To find that out, simply go to the profile section (upper right hand corner in the data dashboard) and tap on "Personal information". There you can see, what you chose to track with juli. Please contact us at support@juli.co if you have any problems, we're here to help!

### 2/5 — Not Insightful

*2022-09-14*

I used Juli for 6+ months. It was helpful at first to just have something to interact with while I was going through a rough patch but now it just feels like I’m a data provider. The data that is collected isn’t really a game changer in managing bipolar disorder. I still keep track of all my symptoms in a paper journal because of the lack of editing capabilities. Once you add something to track, you can’t move the order around or rename it. The data collected isn’t presented back to me in a meaningful way so there is no value. I wanted to switch through different key symptoms or behaviors to see tends and there just isn’t anything like that. I’ll be deleting my account and wish them well with their MVP.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Very helpful!

*2025-11-18, version 2.0.2*

I use this to show my doctor.how I'm doing. So much easier than the paper journal, and I love it that it pulls in so much data so I can see what matters. My sleep matters way more than I ever realized!

### 5/5 — Fibrogal

*2024-12-06, version 1.53*

Software Review

### 5/5 — Feature suggestion

*2023-10-19*

I love this app! It would be seriously helpful if it were possible to choose the date you’re submitting data about. It asks questions about ‘yesterday’, but I use the app before bedtime when the day is still fresh in my mind.

### 5/5 — Life Changing

*2023-03-09*

I’ve tried other apps that were too task-heavy for me, they just made me feel worse. This app is amazing, the most helpful part is tracking my mood. I can see on a graph and calendar that I’m not as miserable as I thought, I have more good days than I ever gave myself credit for before. My depression assessment has continually improved. When I have a bad day or stretch of days, I don’t feel as bad as I used to because I know I can bounce back. This has been so helpful for me, I’d highly recommend it to anyone who wants to work on their life state.

### 5/5 — (Almost) Perfect!

*2022-10-20*

In all honesty I don’t typically write reviews, but it’s the least I could do after the developers made this absolute godsend. Before this app I downloaded so many more ‘mainstream’ well known apps for tracking mental health and general well-being, and it was either too time consuming filling it all out (I’m a horrible procrastinator) or you have to pay for a premium to get the other 3/4 of the app.

Juli isn’t like that. It’s easy to use, a simple bit efficient interface, and just really convenient. You can connect it to other trackers on your phone so data transfer is never a issue (knock on wood) and there’s even these things called “daily dares” in which you get 4 (maybe 5) ‘dares’ a day that you can complete to get these orange circles. It doesn’t shame you if you are unable to complete them either! They present it in a fun and basic manner, and the dares change every day. This app made me do exercise. That’s how efficient it is.

Now if you notice in the title I put (almost). There’s a reason for that, and it’s the diary function. I don’t mind much at all about how it’s set up (you check in in the evenings with the message interface) but the one thing that irritated me a little was the date. They have you fill in a journal entry for the previous day (yesterday). At 9:30 at night (or any time really) I’m barely able to remember what happened today, much less yesterday.

I wish it was set for the entry to be for the current day, or at least the ability to change the date easily in the journal entry logs after. This is the apps only fault in my opinion, but it’s one that would greatly improve the experience if you were to fix it.

TLDR: Great app, diary functions a bit hard to edit and has you put in entries for the previous day instead of the current. If you’re on the fence for this app, I still highly recommend it.

### 5/5 — Great for mood tracking

*2022-07-22, version 1.40*

Use it for bipolar and find it very helpful.

### 5/5 — Incredibly helpful

*2022-06-17*

I have only had a diagnosis of bipolar disorder for a few months and I had been hearing about the importance of tracking my symptoms and I have found this app to be very helpful in doing that in an easy way.

### 5/5 — @Mkaylathedog

*2022-03-19, version 1.31.0*

You’re the exact reason they have that age requirement for this app. Because children like YOU think they have depression at 7-10 years old.

Anxiety sure.

If homework is stressing you out, go play a video game. But this app is age appropriate because by that standard age, most kids with such difficulties, actually have a licensed therapist. That’s the age kids go to therapy mainly. So it makes sense.

The last thing they want is to have kids on here self diagnosing themselves with things. Have you never been a person that stood up too fast, almost fainted, googled it and found out you have cancer?

THATS WHY THERES AN AGE REQUIREMENT LOL

WebMD should have one just so people like me at ages too young to understand mes science, don’t go on there scaring themselves into thinking they’re diabetic cause they fell asleep with their contacts in and woke up with blurry vision.

### 5/5 — I could cry…

*2022-03-11*

I am so grateful for finding this app that I could just cry. Lately I’ve came to the conclusion that I possibly could have bipolar disorder II because I notice the changes in my behavior and mindset often but now I can finally track my emotions and see the bigger picture each day that comes around. I cannot thank Juli enough for making this app, and the part that gets me is that it’s free and I really hope it stays that way because I feel mental health tracking, planner, or whatever you may want to call it, should be free and accessible to all people.

Thank you Juli 💜

### 5/5 — Great for tracking!

*2021-12-23*

Despite having a ton of stuff, it’s a simple app to use, which is amazing. I can track things like my mood, water intake, etc. I really love how it integrates all kinds of info without me having to enter much: my sleep, activity, and other stuff from apple health, the air quality (including pollen!), and weather. So all that is in one place, plus the trendline of how my asthma is doing. And I really like the little game in there… I feel like it’s not a “get 10,000 steps today” kind of challenge (way out of my reach right now), but I can always do one or two of them, and I get to the goal most days, which is awesome. And the journal is just getting better and better. The juli Score looks interesting , too, but it’s
so new I’m not sure yet what I think. But I am definitely looking forward to future updates!
