I can't get past episode 1. ### 2/5 — Love/Hate *2016-07-17* Love the story and bonus features, but the app doesn't work right. When listening in the audible format, it takes you back to where you started when you have to pause it. And the there is no way to fast-forward it except in 15-second increments. That is way too slow when you have been listening for even a half-hour, and then have to fast-forward to where you left off. If you've been listening longer, it's even worse. ### 2/5 — Love the idea *2016-07-12* Every time I return to reading the book the app brings me back to the very 1st page of the book. I am a huge fan but so frustrated that this app won't work. Not a good reflection of Julian Fellow's brand. Last night I charged my phone to 100% and went to bed after listening to the audio version for 15 minutes. When I woke, my phone was dead. Belgravia was the only open app on my phone. I usually swipe all closed each night. It was then that I realized my battery issues directly correspond to my use of the app. It's as if it is constantly running in the background at full force. It won't remember your place, makes you sign back in every time you come back, and jumps to the end of a chapter when you press the fast forward. I wish the most-excellent author would just give the book over to Audible or a talented podcaster app that knows how to handle such things already. The story is worth the struggle though. The various bits of extra info (maps, family tree, etc) are nicely done. The one concern I have is that the info about this app talks about synchronizing across devices but it isn’t clear how to do that. Once I had registered on my iPhone, I couldn’t find a way to use that same registration on my iPad. So now I have 2 accounts for Belgravia.
