## What is juliapp?

Juliapp is your everyday urban safety companion.

Report incidents on a live collaborative safety map, walk home with a "Walk with me" escort that shares your live location with your trusted contacts (Lifelines), and trigger an SOS that alerts your circle with your GPS trail. Find safe places nearby, plan safer routes, and get proactive safety nudges from Julia.

FEATURES
- Live safety map: nearby incident reports (pins), updated in real time
- Walk with me (escort): share your live location with trusted contacts until you arrive
- SOS: one hold alerts your Lifelines with your location + a live trail
- Safe places: find nearby open refuges and walking routes
- Lifelines: your trusted circle for escorts and emergencies
- Julia: a proactive safety companion that anticipates risky moments

Juliapp is built for peace of mind — you decide when to share, and it stops when you're safe.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.1 — 2026-10-01

• Built-in support: write to us directly from Settings and track your request.
• Add a photo as evidence after confirming a report.
• More reliable nearby alerts and assorted fixes.

### 1.2.8 — 2026-08-10

Juliapp is for women.

That is what we have always said. It is now verified: when you open an
account, an identity check confirms you are an adult woman. Neither your
ID document nor your photo is kept — only the recorded sex, your date of
birth, and a technical fingerprint of the document.

Men are not shut out of what matters most. If you trigger an alert and
choose someone close to you, they receive a link to follow your location
in real time and call you. No account needed on their side.

Also in this version:

• SOS, journey companionship and the map stay available immediately,
without waiting for verification. When you are in danger, nothing
  should slow you down.
• Photo uploads on reports: fixed.
• Stronger privacy on profile display.
• Account deletion: restored.
• Map display fixes.

### 1.2.6 — 2026-07-25

This update fixes several display and reliability issues.

• Map: incidents now render correctly. Safe places and points of interest, previously invisible on some devices, are back.
• Trek: the route panel now collapses so you can see the map. Once a trip starts, only the route you follow stays on screen, with readable durations.
• Julia: conversations keep their thread. She used to start over on every message.
• First launch: the Julia intro screen no longer gets stuck.
• SOS: location sharing now starts even without always-on permission.
• Google sign-in restored.

### 1.2.5 — 2026-07-21

Version 1.2.5

Performance and stability enhancements

This release improves app reliability and introduces backend analytics
to help us better understand how Juliapp is being used across our community.

Requirements: iOS 16.0 or later

### 1.0 — 2026-07-13
