## What is Julienne 2?

Julienne is a record you can cut.

Load a sample and Julienne finds its tempo and its transients on its own. Chop it where you hear it, play the chops from the pads, spin and scratch the platter with your finger, and warp anything onto a grid without touching its pitch. Then take the whole session — chops, tempo and order — into wherever you finish tracks.

CHOP
• Tap the waveform to lay a chop; SNAP pulls it onto the nearest transient
• Nudge, trim, reverse and rearrange — a pad is a slot, not a fixed chop
• GATE, NOTE and NEEDLE decide what a pad does while you hold it

PLAY
• Drag the platter to spin, brake and scratch, with the weight of a real one
• 33 and 45, varispeed, reverse
• Time-stretch and warp to a grid with the pitch left alone

EXPORT
• Sampler projects, DAW sessions and plain WAV — the export sounds like the session, because both come out of the same engine
• Everything lands in Files, or goes straight out through the share sheet

CRATES
• Keep records in crates, and send them between your computer and your phone over Wi-Fi

PLUGIN
• Julienne runs as an Audio Unit (AUv3) inside AUM, Koala, Logic and other hosts, so the deck lives in your session

MIDI
• Play the pads and turn the controls from any MIDI controller, wired or Bluetooth
• Learn any control by moving it
