And the snail level of replacement letters adds to the frustration. There are many obtuse or arcane words that the game accepts. Also, many times there are repetitive games. We would love to see this game updated to include more words. YouTube suggested I delete the app and reinstall it which I did twice. However, as other reviewers pointed out, “pop ups” are very annoying, and recent updates completely changed the game. Some of the words cannot be found in the dictionary. Some are from other languages. Like, for example, kopiyka a Ukrainian equivalent of a penny. Or sovkhoz which is collective community in Soviet Union. BTW, in Russian this is a combination of two words. All of the updates that have nothing to do with English language killed the joy. And when I returned to the game, it started from 0. Many of the words are not normal English words and sometimes do not have English definitions. A common word like : “rape” is not even accepted! I don’t know what country the developers are from but this are not in the 18th century, nor do we live in Old England or VietNam! What kinds of words are: BAA, MOO, LIER, very strange words are accepted and I refuse to start over! Coins used in Papua New Guinea? Old English words? It has devolved into a "guess anything" non-puzzle. I wonder if the game you pay for actually works. Don't think I'll take the chance. ### 1/5 — What have you done to Jumbline 2? *2023-06-14, version 2.2.11* You must have updated J2 so that now the words include foreign, acronyms and so many other words that are not found in Webster's or other accepted dictionary. There are many English words that J2 still doesn't accept (eg. satan ) yet it now accepts many totally unrecognizable words, some just sounds. After having reached level 3858 (approx) I restarted and at level 1 this nonsense began. When I realized what was happening I started entering random letters and they were accepted as valid entries! When I looked up the definition it was referring to wiki dictionary, not the regular one. I am really disappointed in the direction you've taken. Create an additional option instead so that users know they are heading into wiki words ! I no longer enjoy playing. Also, many times while playing J2 the screen randomly goes black, or goes back to the start, or rejumbles the letters! This is very annoying and distracting! Can’t enter your submissions, but clock keeps ticking down. Developers seem to want to force you to pay for upgrade/no ad versions. Game has not been updated in very long time. Six letter, atuneb doesn't recognize atune as a word. No 5-char box, just 3, 4, 6. And it does maybe take a few liberties. It changed the game by adding words I’ve never heard of. So, if it happens to you, check that first. I saw the +11 languages on the app description, and thought they had changed the game! Brainium was terrific in helping me. The +11 languages in the app description is wrong, but Brainium can't get it taken off. I went looking to see why my game wasn't acting correctly and found that the words had gone to only 5 letters, and the expert words were on. My dog had walked over my ipad and, unknown to me, his paw changed it! He turns things on in my car, too. Clever dog! The game is terrific, again. Download it. Gives you time to see all the possibilities. The fact that words are alphabetically organized makes it easier to find missing words.
