But there are far too many ads—there’s an ad after EVERY game. I play other Branium games and the others have far fewer ads than Jumbline 2. Why so many on this game? I understand that I have the option to pay a fee to eliminate ads, but why would I do that? You are already being paid for including the ads—-so why would I double pay you to eliminate them? So I’ll play Jumbline 2 until I tire of the insipid ads—then I’ll delete the app, like I’ve done with other games. It’s a great game, challenging words, fun. However, lately, the ads are longer and longer and more intrusive. Sometimes, the X to get out of the ad is placed so that it’s easy to miss getting it dead enter and you have to dismiss the app 4-5 times. I would gladly pay to go ad free, but that doesn’t seem to be an option. Or at least, I can’t find it after pressing every button. It’s challenging and makes me think. It was one of the games I could play without being bombarded with ads. The few that popped up were short and I could live with it. BUT recently that’s all changed. It seems like your making up for lost time. There’s an ad after EVERY SINGLE GAME. Granted you can X out of most fairly soon, but they are very annoying. So much so that I’m considering deleting the game and that makes me very sad. It really is the best word game out there, but the ads are TOO MUCH! I’m so disappointed. You went from a 5+ to a 3 in my books. ### 3/5 — Good game. Bad Dictionary *2024-10-02* I’ve always loved text twist (which is what this game is based off of, from back in the day). But the dictionary in this game needs work. They have an “expert words” setting, but many of the seven letter words on the standard setting should be expert words—we’re talking ridiculously obscure words specific to some scientific field and things like that. But the dictionary also doesn’t include certain words that are actually words—“toucan” is not in the dictionary? It definitely needs work. ### 3/5 — Has the potential to be a great game *2024-09-26, version 2.2.11* Unfortunately, not sure what dictionary they’re using, but they miss many words but then use bizarre, rarely used words that seem to be coming from an old English dictionary. I can understand not using words that are vulgar, but they miss other commonly used American words as well. Recently, it gets stuck on the ads in between games and I have to close it out and start over again to continue. The ads screen will be completely black or the ads won’t have a way to click out of them to move on past it. It has gotten to the point where I have to close out the app after every round. Whilst I learned to be patient and put up with them you now have Sugar Crush which went on, and on and on and then froze on the screen with no X to cancel it and be able to move on to the game. Recently, ads started popping up. It such a buzz-kill. This is the game I have played the most while waiting for appointments, waiting for someone while sitting in the car, waiting in line, before bed, first thing before getting up in the morning, while taking a break, and anytime I have the opportunity…it’s fast paced, fun and colorful and the sounds are pleasant. You can scramble the letters to see if you can find another word. The letters Are also movable to play around to find other words without hitting the scramble button. There’s no word dial, where you have to connect letters like on some of the other apps. You could play timed or untimed. They use real words not made up words like ESS. It keeps track of your score and level until you can’t find the five or six letter word.
