### 4/5 — fail to connect a win 11 desktop

*2026-08-26, version 9.8.0*

It’s working smoothly. But recently I bought a Windows 11 desktop, and it’s not working now. Please post a guide or fix the issue

### 3/5 — Works on AVP but bluetooth mouse is glitchy, needs AVP overhaul

*2026-07-23, version 9.8.0*

AVP version (well, the iPad version) now works pretty well. The mouse cursor still tends to jump all over to match the gaze during interruptions (instead of just staying where the cursor was last used) when using a bluetooth mouse with AVP. I think what honestly needs to happen is a version specific to AVP (there are dozens of us!) for the power users who are trying to connect to many remote hosts in an AR space. Please feel free to charge $200 USD for this version, I just need the best for my work. Thanks.

### 2/5 — Connection quality so bad

*2026-07-08, version 9.8.0*

I connect my iPad with my Mac via same wifi, but the graphic quality is so bad, not clearly, especially when I scroll the page. Disappointed.

### 4/5 — Great app - Onshape dedicated gestures would be awesome -

*2026-06-20, version 9.8.0*

Happy to work with you on Onshape dedicated gestures as a power user - just trying out Mac at home iPad on the go remote in for the heavy lifting as Onshape not supported in desktop browser stupidly - also if I could just get full display rather than the gap at the bottom however you wanna do it that would be lovely thanks

### 3/5 — Only SSH DSA and RSA keys supported

*2026-06-11, version 9.8.0*

This app only supports SSH DSA and RSA keys. Both of these are no longer supported by OpenSSH. Needs an update to use modern algorithms!

### 4/5 — Great smooth UI

*2026-06-04, version 9.8.0*

One caveat on mobile: keyboard keeps overlapping inputs on the screen when it pops up

### 1/5 — Missing Modern Linux Support

*2026-05-30, version 9.8.0*

Jump used to be my go-to Remote Desktop app, however development seems to be stalled and the app is lacking support for modern key types and Gnome Remote Desktop.

### 3/5 — Battery drain is crazy

*2026-05-28, version 9.8.0*

I love this app but when it’s on the background on my iPhone it drains like 70% in 4 hours if I don’t force close it. Please fix this. iPhone Air latest ios

### 1/5 — Way more complicated that it seems to be worth

*2026-05-26, version 9.8.0*

I was trying to connect my ipad and Mac Neo to my Mac Mini 4 but i kept going in circles. If i cant figure this in another day I will just ask for a refund. Also not a lot of instruction on YT either. Ugh!

### 3/5 — Why?

*2026-05-25, version 9.8.0*

I love this app for my Mac and iPad. But, one day I thought it might be mice to put it on my Windows Desktop. I could not use it without creating an account. I’m tired of creating accounts to use software. I uninstalled it immediately.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Broken, No updates in 2 years

*2026-08-23, version 9.8.0*

This app worked great until Mac released a patch for the Remote Desktop no-auth bug. Now, this app will not connect at all to any of my Remote Desktop enabled Macs. It hasn't been updated in 2 years so I anticipate this app is permanently broken. Do not buy.

### 1/5 — And now it is broken.

*2026-08-16, version 9.8.0*

With the latest update to MacOS, this can no longer VNC to the host. Since they have not done an update in two years to this app, one can only think this is abandonware.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with Tahoe 26.6.1

*2026-08-10, version 9.8.0*

After updating to the latest macOS, it ‘jumps’ to the list of servers screen with no a single alert explaining why it cannot connect… And no updates for years… Get refund ASAP!

### 1/5 — Input doesn’t work

*2026-07-30, version 9.8.0*

I connect and can see the screen, but keyboard input doesn’t work — pressing keys triggers random actions, opens/closes various applications, and executes hotkey combinations.

### 1/5 — Unreliable

*2026-07-29, version 9.8.0*

I thought I could trust a paid application for reliability and I was wrong.

### 1/5 — No Linux support apparently

*2026-07-14, version 9.8.0*

ChatGPT recommended this to connect to my Linux desktop. Well, after paying $15 for it, it doesn’t work at all and the forums indicate the developer has no plan to fix it.

### 1/5 — Needs update

*2026-07-04, version 9.8.0*

Icon needs an update asap, i have to keep it hidden with faceid because it looks really bad on iOS18+, especially on iOS26+. Please fix it.

### 1/5 — Did not work at all

*2026-07-01, version 9.8.0*

I spent all night with ChatGPT trying different configuration combinations and none worked for remote access.

I wish I knew this before I paid for this useless software.

### 1/5 — Lag

*2026-06-21, version 9.8.0*

The app is not performing well, the latency is huge even with enterprise grade network at home

### 1/5 — Needs update

*2026-06-02, version 9.8.0*

Icon doesn’t match on iOS or macOS dev needs to update them

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Update is coming

*2026-08-27, version 9.8.0*

Apple made security updates around screen sharing and broke this app. However, I have found signs of the developer working to resolve this issue. They aren't ignoring the fact that the app is currently broken. Signs point to an update coming very soon.

Yes, the app has been stagnant for updates for 2 years. Not a great look, but this app is buy once. You get what paid for. And up until Apple made breaking changes, it worked. That's good value without an in-app subscription.

I'm grateful for the developer working to resolve the issue. Hopefully it lands soon!

### 5/5 — Setup was flawless

*2026-08-05, version 9.8.0*

Just started using this app for connecting to my Mac remotely. Setup was totally automated and flawless. It steps through all the permissions including required restarts without missing a beat. Setup my Mac on my account then opened the app on the iPad and launched it immediately.

Works great! Touch control is perfect. I will be using this when I travel.

### 5/5 — mouse+iphone+jump+pc

*2026-07-29, version 9.8.0*

I found a workaround.

The cursor only behaves correctly if the entire remote desktop is visible on the iPhone screen. If the remote desktop is zoomed in or cropped, the mouse cursor rapidly drifts across the screen. As soon as I zoom out so that the full remote desktop fits on the iPhone display (in landscape mode), the mouse works normally. It looks like the pointer mapping becomes incorrect whenever the remote desktop is scaled or cropped.

### 5/5 — I love it

*2026-07-23, version 9.8.0*

Nice software for remote control (IPad -> Mac mini)

### 5/5 — Just amazing

*2026-07-13, version 9.8.0*

One time purchase has led to me thousands of hours of use. So amazing wish more apps were unlimited like this

### 5/5 — Outstanding RDP App

*2026-07-06, version 9.8.0*

As a long-term user of Parallels Access (a ‘free’ RDP app that came bundled with Parallels Desktop licenses), I was left high-and-dry when Parallels elected to deprecate their RDP app.

Jump Desktop immediately stood out as a good alternative and since purchasing it I haven’t looked back: functionally superior to Parallels Access, upon which I had previously depended, and great value for money.

### 5/5 — It just works!

*2026-06-20, version 9.8.0*

Ive tried many different remote desktop solutions but im blown away how fluid and easy Jump is, no fuss connects and works with all iPad accessories seamlessly (like the magic keyboard / trackpad) Perfect app!

### 5/5 — Need update!

*2026-06-03, version 9.8.0*

App is good but no update since 2-years is disappointing

### 5/5 — Incredible Value

*2026-06-01, version 9.8.0*

All devs take note. This is what good software looks like.

### 5/5 — Absolute beauty!!

*2026-05-31, version 9.8.0*

I have to say the way this app has been created and the way the developers have thought of all the small things, its just unbelievable! I was struggling with a slow mouse speed and then got to know that jump desktop has a feature to lock the mouse cursor and set a custom speed for my physical mouse which has been an absolute game change! Thanks again for your service :) This is an absolute banger for the price.
