### 5/5 — Exactly what I needed as a SAHM

*2024-01-31*

June Care has truly been an answered prayer! As a SAHM it’s been the best source of extra income. I get to choose when I work while still caring for my own children. On top of that, I get to meet other local moms and my kids look forward to their play dates with their new friends! The app is very user friendly and the support team is extraordinary. I’ll continue to recommend to my friends and family!

### 5/5 — June Care is my first place to look for a sitter

I have found both repeat sitters and one-time sitters through the June Care app. I feel so much more confident having a fellow mom watch my kids than any other option.

### 5/5 — Great Community. Great Service.

*2024-01-23*

I signed up for June Care specifically to earn some extra money for my family, while still being with my family. This platform, this service is such a great resource and the community of parents is top notch!
The process to search and book for childcare is seamless and the payout for the host is very timely! Having the freedom to pick and choose almost every aspect of the booking makes the service very personalized as well.

### 5/5 — I love JuneCare - JuneCare Host

*2024-01-23*

I absolutely love JuneCare! I have been with JuneCare for going on 3 years as a host. I love hosting for mamas who need help with their littles. JuneCare gives working mamas the chance to find trustworthy childcare from a stay at home mama. From one mom to another, I will care for your children as I would care for my own. It’s truly an amazing company!

Ever had a babysitter last minute cancelled on you? Or your daycare is closed for the day? Or you just need a break from your loving child(ren)? lol yes. That was me. I had all three happened. I was able to find care within a day for my toddler with a mom that was qualified and background checked! Love junecare!!!!

### 5/5 — Build your village

*2024-01-10*

June Care is an amazing company and this app has been awesome. This app makes it so easy to connect with local families who either need childcare or who can help with childcare needs. I personally host for June Care and have met some really amazing families through June Care. Like they say, it takes a village.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Too expensive. Not hiring.

*2025-08-05, version 1.2.9*

The service is expensive, and several of us, including a friend who used the app for over a year, found that only the same two providers were consistently hired… It seems few people are hiring through this platform. For instance, there are currently 262 providers offering babysitting and childcare services, but only 50 have been hired.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work if you’re actively looking for jobs..

*2024-09-15, version 1.2.4*

As someone actively seeking jobs, I’ve found that families rarely respond through this app, which has been incredibly frustrating. There are several bugs that make the experience worse. One of the most tedious issues is having to scroll through all the jobs I’ve already applied to when trying to find new ones. It’s easy to lose track, and the process becomes unnecessarily time-consuming. The filter function also doesn’t work well. For example, I filter out jobs involving infants, but they still pop up. If I’m not careful, I could end up applying for a job I don’t want. This becomes especially tricky when a family has multiple children, one of whom is an infant, and it’s not immediately clear from the job listing. Another major downside is the amount of personal information the app requires before you’ve even had a conversation with a family. Meanwhile, families provide very little information about what they’re looking for in a babysitter, which makes it hard to determine if I’m the right fit. It feels like there’s no commitment from families, even from the start, which adds to the frustration. Additionally, having to write a new response for each job application is exhausting. Other platforms, like Care.com, allow you to save responses, which makes the process so much easier. Here, you have to manually copy and paste, which is inefficient. Overall, while the concept is great, the execution leaves much to be desired. I’ve spent hours applying to jobs and, despite hearing about the platform’s potential early on, my experience has been disappointing. Since downloading, I’ve only met with one family, and most others either don’t respond or ghost the messages. I’d love to know if it’s actually successful for anyone else.

### 2/5 — “they say this app is first day at home Moms, but it’s really not”

*2025-02-15, version 1.2.6*

I’ve ran into multiple families that do not want to stay at home mom to watch their kids and that’s very unfortunate. This app was strictly designed for that reason. And yeah, as a sitter, I can’t find any family to work for. So I don’t think This app has solve that problem.

### 2/5 — Not the best

*2024-12-06*

The concept is nice however they tell families that they reference check all providers, however they let me book to watch a child without checking! Then after I had already been watching a kid were bothered that they weren’t able to reach the reference provided & kept asking me for someone else but it can’t be family so I had nobody else, this should’ve been checked BEFORE I was already watching someone’s kid if they’re telling the other parents I’m reference checked!! On top of that I had tracked some hours for the week & went on to report the rest of them & my account is inactive!!! So now there’s NO WAY for me to get the money for providing care!! I tried the “contact support” button which took me to email an email that they submitted, but the email is INVALID!!!! So there’s NO WAY of reaching them either, NOWAY to reach them or the family I was providing for! Now I’m just out the money!! Seems like if they’re going to run a business they could have a better way of handling some of this

### 4/5 — I love this app

*2025-08-13, version 1.2.9*

Brilliant app

### 4/5 — Too expensive or would be great

*2024-08-28*

Great experience w sitters from June care and love the idea of building community and my daughter loves that her sitter brings a friend for her! Unfortunately to connect with more than two people the app charges a ridiculous membership rate and the free version bombards you w popups. JuneCare creators, the 10% service fee should be enough and would make the app appeal to many more people.

### 5/5 — It was a great concept

*2025-10-28*

It was a great concept,
Other platforms charge hosting families monthly fees(the ones needing care). However, I felt the app was marketing as affordable child care, and the rates families and SAHM would set were to charge equal to what Nannie’s offer. I don’t really think you can charge what a nanny gets paid if you’re in your own home with your husband and kids. I would rather pay for someone to come to my home for the same rate. Hope it comes back and is similar to Urbansitter, which I’ve been on for a few years and make money from.

### 5/5 — Best care app right now

*2025-03-27, version 1.2.6*

I can debate that this is the most accurate well built app for care for parent and caregivers

### 5/5 — Moms best friend

*2024-12-20*

Local childcare support anyone? I joined JuneCare not long ago but I love how I can choose care options that fit my needs and also switch to when we need care. JuneCare makes it simple to use and understand for parents with busy schedules

### 5/5 — Much Better than Care.com

*2024-11-16, version 1.2.4*

This app is so much more community oriented than care.com or sittercity. It is literally a community of parents working together to make child care accessible and safe in each others homes! Great app! Great idea!

### 5/5 — Moms supporting moms

*2024-06-25, version 1.2.0*

We love June Care, we found great friends and a great way to share and learn with other families. As a host, I helped moms with last-minute childcare service.

### 5/5 — Love this!!

*2024-06-25*

This platform is amazing. I’ve been looking for exactly this setup as a SAHM. The app itself is safe, reliable, and functional. The customer service is great too. I love that you can switch between host and family as well! Very well designed.

### 5/5 — Safety and functionality

*2024-04-22, version 1.1.8*

Hello families. I’m a provider and is so easy use the app: just set the distance where u looking for the babysitter and is done. Everything is smooth. Every conversation is safety and checked.
