I like the interactive component & the spoken reinforcement, but upper elementary students - who are the ones needing the review - find it patronizing. **Developer response:** The ability to hide the animal face (and turn off the jungle sounds) was added in version 4.10, which was released March 8, 2013 ### 4/5 — Full of information! Great supplement to school lessons! *2011-10-16, version 2.0* The app was filled with relevant and helpful information needed when learning about fractions. The app included a variety of components such as visual models, fraction number expressions, and vocabulary. All of the components used together make this app a great resource in the classroom! I loved all the options and settings that create opportunities for feedback record keeping. I definitely recommend this app to all in the educational community. ### 5/5 — Fun educational app *2012-10-08, version 4.05* This is a great app with different games that correspond different levels of learning. Beginners can start out simply naming the fraction displayed, then move on to comparing, converting, and multiplying. It's fun and engaging. There is a setting for a "congratulations" message, when you get five-in-a-row correct, which is our daughter's goal for each game (and the only change I'd like would be to be able to increase that number). **Developer response:** The ability to customize the number of consecutive correct answers for the Congratulations screen was added in version 7.35, which was released March 5, 2015 ### 5/5 — Fabulous Fractions! *2012-01-21, version 2.3* This app is so amazing! I do after school math tutoring and the students loved reviewing fraction knowledge with this app! I also used it with my 10 year old daughter the other day to help her with mixed and improper fractions...she got it so fast! Thanks Andrew!! ---- Staci Wolfe ### 5/5 — Fun and Effective Learning! *2011-03-09, version 1.5* My kids love these Jungle apps and so do I as a parent. I've bought dozens of educational apps and Jungle Time, Jungle Fractions, and Jungle Coins are among my favorites. They make learning interactive, fun, and visually intuitive. They teach the basics and then some with graphics and games that are simple but pleasing and interactive. In addition, the updates make these apps increasingly polished and functional. My two boys are having so much fun learning fractions, very easy, and the best part is they are having fun while learning at the same time.
