The “add” or “remove” buttons also can’t be tapped, so the app is just stuck in logged out mode for me with no way to get logged in. ### 4/5 — Great so far except google passkey sign in *2024-08-09* I can’t bring myself to enter user/pass for my personal email address on a third party account, so I had to use my alt account. If passkey sign in worked I would have been ok and signed in with my personal account with a 5 star on this review, but until then 4 star and only my alt account… also can’t see a way to like or dislike videos but that could be due to Google YouTube’s AP limitations ### 4/5 — App logging me out *2024-07-13* Hello, enjoying your app so far but it seems to log me out after every session. Is this normal behaviour ? ### 3/5 — Good by not quite there *2024-07-05* Moves the controls out of the frame to make interaction much easer. But doesn’t handle creator made playlists very well, and constantly stops playing falling back to a spinner that never stops spinning. Going back and restarting the video rarely restores the playback and never from where you where. Closing the app does nothing at all to reinitialize correct playback. Most of the time you have to force quit the application, and even then it only occasionally recovers. I could tolerate this bug if it only it would self correct, but as it is it’s just too much trouble to get through a video. ### 3/5 — NOT THRILLED *2024-07-04* So far I want my five dollars back. You can't even share a video from within the interface because it doesn't track your eye movements. At the end of videos when people go to the trouble of putting links of their other videos, you can't track your eyes there either. I have a different app that came with this Vision Pro even though they want $30 for lifetime. I'm starting to think it might be the better deal. They have a few eye tracking issues within their app, but not as many as this one seems to have. ### 2/5 — Disappointing *2024-06-04* For an app that you actually have to buy it should be better than Safari. You can’t do the picture in picture. You can’t like or comment on things half of the time. Most of the videos don’t even go to fullscreen but some do. That’s very confusing. Maybe I’m missing some things, but it should be easier. Please do some updates. ### 4/5 — Almost there *2024-05-18* This app works great. There’s only a couple exceptions that keep it from being excellent. One is that some videos will randomly load in a webpage format so you don’t get the full experience anymore and on top of that when you return back to the homepage, it will cause a refresh so if there’s any videos that you were trying to watch afterwards, they’re probably gone Besides that I just have one more feature to ask for and it’s a theater mode. If you could find a way to implement that and fix the previous issue, this is an easy five star app! ### 3/5 — Doesn’t record to watch history *2024-05-11* The app itself is really easy to navigate. However, whenever I watch a video on my account it does not load it to the watch history. I’m not sure if this is only me experiencing this or if it’s a bigger issue, but I’m definitely signed in and it still doesn’t add the videos I watched to watch history on this specific platform. I don’t have this problem anywhere else. Hoping for a fix. ### 3/5 — Full screen is broken with the search function *2024-03-07* When you try to use fullscreen with videos in the search results it says full screen is not available on your browser ### 4/5 — Can't smash like and subscribe :( *2024-03-04* Otherwise it's really great after the 1.1 update, it's just missing a lot of the hardcore/daily user kinds of actions, like smashing that like button or adding videos to watch later. Or videos showing up in watch history at all, kinda screws with my recommends because the home page will keep recommending things I watched. ### 2/5 — Can’t browse while video is playing *2024-03-01* That makes it kind of useless, and in fact less good than simply playing in browser. This is a must have app. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Many bugs *2024-07-24* I’ve noticed many bugs in this app. Whenever I try to play a video from my history, it never works. Additionally, sometimes when an advertisement plays, it gets stuck and won’t continue to the video. ### 1/5 — Constant freezes and control bar disappears *2024-05-21* I like the simplicity, but there are several issues with this app, chiefly being there is no back button after searching or visiting a channel page. And if there were no glitches that would still send me to search for a better alternative. But there are glitches, including the bottom bar disappearing, and the app completely freezing when closing out of a video midstream. The latter requires asking Siri to restart the program as there is no other decent way to force close. I tried….. ### 1/5 — Terribly glitchy *2024-02-06* The application is very buggy, keeps signing you out, at the times where you’d be watching video, the back button will disappear, and you will be stuck with having to force quit the app. Extremely underbaked. ### 1/5 — Lots of bugs *2024-02-05* It’s really nice but too many bugs and can’t close an open video. If you try to resize video to smaller size you end up cropping the video itself. Better off using browser. ### 1/5 — A little buggy to start *2024-02-04* Great idea and I’m sure it will work eventually, but I’m stuck in a video. There is no control to exit, only a replay icon. The only other option is to exit the app. I’ve tried resizing the window (why not?), but basically, it’s useless right now. When I try to tap on the password field as well. please fix it :( ### 2/5 — Serious Bugs and Lacks Tons of Features *2024-07-08* This app lacks a lot of features compared to just watching on safari, such as viewing comments, video description, and most important to me, the discovery feed on the side so I can browse other videos to hop to while watching one. I also experienced some pretty bad bugs, like my video feeds not refreshing, or one where opening a particular channel would simply not work. ### 2/5 — Search only works for 1 item *2024-07-01* The biggest issue is that when you select a search result and display it, you cannot get back to the search results. So if you search for VR180 videos and watch one, you can’t get back to the search results without starting a whole new search.
