### 4/5 — Cell Output Plots

*2026-08-12, version 4.1.4*

Worth the $40 to use this app. However with latest builds, clicking cell output with plots doesn’t use screen wisely. on 12.9 in ipad, it pops up a 400 x 400 window that takes up less 25% of screen width and height. Zooming is awkward to use. Until developers fix, i’m going use my laptop

### 3/5 — Nice to have Jupyter notebooks on my iPad

*2026-06-28, version 3.10.0*

Overall the running of Python scripts and Jupyter notebooks works very well. In fact, the app would be worth the money just for the Jupyter notebooks. However, the user experience for me was a bit of a let down. I keep getting little problems like auto indents going to the wrong place, eapecially after two finger cursor moving gestures over the keyboard, and sometimes the cursor going off a few lines when I tap to place the cursor, which require me to exit and reopen the app. Plus navigating back to the project/file list can be unintuitive and frustrating especially in portrait view (perhaps because I have an iPad Mini). I do like this app though, I just think the dev could spend a bit more time coding with it so it becomes a bit more polished.

### 3/5 — 666还必须要花钱

🤔

### 2/5 — Onedrive support?

*2026-04-08, version 3.10.0*

Docs say onedrive not supported, ios settings app lets me choose onedrive for document storage in juno’s app access settings. Which is it? It still doesn’t let me open the files in the app so I guess it doesnt work. Wont shell out £30 for an ide that doesnt integrate with my institutions storage provider.

### 5/5 — Ricky

*2026-04-08, version 3.10.0*

Excellent IDE for python and ML coding on the go. Tons of feature and excellent support for huge number of libraries. I absolutely love it . Strongly recommend .

### 3/5 — Plot tiling

*2026-04-06, version 3.10.0*

please allow plot windows to be maximised/docked on the IDE.

*2026-02-25, version 3.9.0*

Приложение идеальное! Особенно для хранения кодов Python, но разочаровывает - это то, что если хочешь посмотреть код то нужна подписка. Остальных минусов не нашёл

### 4/5 — Please add Langchain

*2026-02-20, version 3.9.0*

This is perfect for most data science use cases but it lacks the full capability of my main use case which is langchain. Adding this will make this app 5/5 but I am still stuck with using google colab for the IPad

### 1/5 — 実行できない

*2026-06-01, version 3.10.0*

実行するのに課金しないといけないとかまじでドブカスじゃん無課金にしてほしいんだが

### 1/5 — No point to use it.

*2026-05-17, version 3.10.0*

Seriously? Why do we need to pay just to run code? It should be free and not expensive! Why do we have to pay to use? Without running code we may not identify what’s wrong with our code. AND I WILL NOT PAY TO USE IT. BAD. I would’ve gave you more stars IF YOU MADE RUNNING FREE. THIS APP IS POINTLESS WITHOUT RUNNING.

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2026-05-15, version 3.10.0*

I was trying to make an app with this but to run my code I had to pay ? This is ridiculous

### 1/5 — Not actually free

*2026-04-15, version 3.10.0*

They make the app look free on the App Store and then there is an in app pricey purchase to be able to run code.

### 1/5 — Only for adults prob

*2026-03-24, version 3.9.0*

I installed it and playing the code costs a 40$/month trial to use,

Would NOT recommend

### 1/5 — I Can’t run python scripts and can’t run it for free

*2026-01-31, version 3.9.0*

DONT DOWNLOAD THiS APP ITS PAY TO USE

### 1/5 — 太不好用

切换商店就掉会员

### 1/5 — Useless unless you pay

*2025-12-24, version 3.8.2*

Literally all useful functionality requires the full version, and it doesn’t do enough to let me evaluate its worth.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Worth every penny - now supports Claude, Codex and OpenCode

*2026-08-24, version 4.2.2*

Now works with your AI subscriptions, including Claude, Codex and OpenCode (and anything with compatible API), brilliant thank you! Previous review from 2025: I got this for arbitrary precision maths using mpmath (and SymPy) and it’s great, worth every penny. Only certain libraries are available because of the locked-down iOS platform, but that includes lots of favourites. This sole developer is doing a superb job!

### 5/5 — Worth every penny - needs OpenCode AI!

*2026-08-18, version 4.1.5*

AI integration would be much better with more model support, eg OpenCode. Previous review from 2025: I got this for arbitrary precision maths using mpmath (and SymPy) and it’s great, worth every penny. Only certain libraries are available because of the locked-down iOS platform, but that includes lots of favourites. This sole developer is doing a superb job!

### 5/5 — Positively answered a long time search of mine

*2026-08-11, version 4.1.4*

Yes, I had been searching for an app that would give a CAS, a programming language and the possibility of porting my files to my macbook.
I tryed several until I found python in ios.
I took some time until I decided to give juno a try. I am very satisfied.
The package numpy sometimes gets unload by the OS,as explained by the developer, but I can manage.
The developer even answers our questions, which is nice!

### 5/5 — Incredible tool

*2026-07-18, version 4.1.1*

This is what is currently possible in iOS / iPadOS. Great product.

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2026-07-17, version 4.1.1*

I’ve used Juno for years and am so happy to shout out these developers. There is consistent support and updates to the app and to the underlying libraries. Juno is actually my main daily Jupyter notebook and code editor. It’s amazing to have it available wherever I am and I can achieve so much with it. The most recent updates have been even more of a game changer. With projects and AI assistants, as well as full utilization of background processes, there is so much more that can be done. Worth every penny. Please keep up the great work and great support!

### 5/5 — Amazing Python/Jupyter on iPad

*2026-07-16, version 4.1.0*

I could never imagine one day I can lie on sofa to script Python. Now I did it with this wonderful App :)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-07-13, version 3.10.0*

I really like the app, it is probably the best way to do Jupyter on the Ipad.

### 5/5 — 💝

*2026-07-10, version 3.10.0*

Juno is the best.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-05-18, version 3.10.0*

Overall this is a great app. Opening files however is more confusing than it should be, however. For some reason tapping on a file on iPad only previews it, and for some reason the preview is always wrap rather narrowly so that there’s up to 10-20% of nothing but wasted whitespace on the right. Actually opening files results it different kinds of editors: code files get a full screen editor with a collapsible console sidebar. But text files confusingly only get a modal popup up. I understand why notebooks are somewhat different, but overall the app would be far less confusing if I could 1) actually just open files by tapping on them instead getting a useless narrow preview, and 2) just use the same editor for text and code files. Text files could just have certain toolbar items disabled. Also, I often would want to use the console or a Python terminal while viewing a text file, as some text files are actuall CSV files that I’m manipulating. The UIs in Pythonista amd Pyto are much more intuitive , but sadly development has seemed to stall for both. I’d love to replace them with Juno, but the UI needs work.
