## What is Just An Alarm Clock?

Just an Alarm Clock is exactly what it sounds like.  It's a clock.  With an alarm.  That's all.  You can customize the colors, and choose from several fonts for the clock as well as several alarm tone options.  But that's it.  No tracking the vernal equinox, no automatically waking you at local sunrise.  It's just designed to be easy to use.  Set the alarm for the time you want.  Swipe anywhere on the screen to make the alarm stop ringing or tap the large alarm bell to snooze.  Nothing tricky, because lets face it, you're still mostly asleep when you are trying to operate this thing.  Some other things it doesn't include?  No pop-up ads, no in-app purchases to unlock the number 7, no annoying quizzes to make you think when you're not even awake yet.  It's Just an Alarm Clock.  And its free.

Does everything an alarm clock should do. No ads, subscriptions or other nonsense. Apple’s built-in alarm clock uses the alerts volume which is changed when the phone is put on DND. So I would have to go to settings to adjust the alerts volume every night before bed. This app solves that problem.

I needed a simple alarm clock app with no frills that is exactly what this app is; a simple alarm clock that just works. It doesn’t pretend to be anything more than that. It is simple to use and gets the job done and, yes, it is free! Great job on this app!!!

I love the concept of this app, and the fact that it doesn’t track sleep biometrics.

Even after testing to make sure I knew it worked (while awake), I must have hit some combo of actions that caused the volume to be off so I didn’t hear the alarm at all. I think it’s a bug. I got a call from a worried friend when I was over an hour late to a morning appointment.

I want to use this app but it doesn’t seem reliable.

I set it once when I need it , but it keeps going off the same time every day . Even with the alarm turned off and also when I deleted it . This is not a good thing as it won’t stop . When I get rid of it for good don’t be adding it again that’s for sure . No stars

Okay, okay.  So you know how we said no accessing your music data?  Well, it turns out that waking up to music is a thing people actually like.  A lot.  So this new version allows you to set a specific song or an album or playlist for your alarm.  If you have an Apple Music subscription you can use that, or you can use music stored on your device.  We also added an option for a soft glow and new fonts as well as bug fixes and just generally keeping up with the iOS releases.  What did we not add?  We didn't add any cost.  Still free.  Still no ads.  Still Just an Alarm Clock.
