My only complaint is when you make choices to upgrade your shop you can’t see the rest of the shop so I can see what looks best with the rest… ### 3/5 — Started amazing…. *2026-08-25, version 1.9.1* I absolutely was obsessed with this game when I started! For 2 days it was amazing! Then, all ways to get my energy boosted for “free” was gone. Now I can play for maybe 4 minutes every 2 hours. Such a shame. The storyline was incredible, the game play was flawless, but there’s no way anyone can afford to “buy” energy for this game. Too expensive for way too little time. Breaks my heart as it really is a great app IF you could actually still play it. I mean, as the orders go up & get bigger, the energy stays the same & no where near enough. ### 4/5 — Promising *2026-08-25, version 1.9.1* I have really enjoyed this merge game, but have a bit of feedback: Most of the merge games I’ve played all refill your energy/gives you a set amount when you level up. This one doesn’t, and it’s a bit maddening … I don’t mind paying for occasional packs or event perks, but I’m probably going to stop playing this one soon as I’m level 22 and just blow through energy way too fast compared to getting energy items or via quests. It’s not fun when you have to buy multiple add-ons a day just to keep playing. Also, it would be SO great if you were able to zoom in/out of the background, or could delay a decor choice instead of being forced into it with a limited visual range. It makes it hard to decide how an option looks among other choices in the space. That’s been a frustration with most decor choices. I’d also love a less … froofy set of decor options? I don’t really love the froofy stuff, or most of the green or orange stuff. And I really don’t like all the angel statues that you have no choice about adding to your space. That said, I find the story proceeds at a better pace than other popular merge games. Or you are at least given enough info to come to some conclusions and maintain interest. Overall it’s solid, but I hope some energy gifts or level refills are incorporated soon. The minor gripes are easier to overlook if you can just keep playing longer. Oh, and I’d kill for an alternative or “goth” set of options! Ella is an alternative lady, she should have a bit more decor to match the vibe. 😉 ### 3/5 — Ist unterhaltsam *2026-08-24* An sich ist es schön gestaltet und macht Spaß zu spielen. Man muss auch nicht ständig werbung schauen. Aber die Events werden ständig eher abgebrochen, ca 4 Tage eher, ist mir jetzt schon wieder passiert. Beim ersten Mal dachte ich noch ich hätte nicht richtig geschaut. Schade immer wenn man auf einem guten Weg ist wird es einem vom Spiel kaputt gemacht und dann wird Geld verlangt zum verlängern. Scheint wieder ne Strategie zum abzocken zu sein. Sehr sehr schade. ### 2/5 — Woman of Colors face 👎🏽 *2026-08-23, version 1.9.1* I am so disappointed that this app made the only Woman of Color have her passive face has her constantly looking angry. It feeds into harmful stereotypes. Please reconsider making her face as passively friendly as EVERY OTHER CHARACTER in the game. ### 5/5 — Best Merge Game *2026-08-19, version 1.9.1* Usually I don’t bother with reviews but this is the best merge game bar none. No annoying ads, quick with wins, and the storyline continues without having to constantly sink money into the game! But I want to see real drastic revenge! I like the story so far. I’m early into the game but can’t wait to see what’s next. Really want to see the bad guys suffer. ### 3/5 — Greed *2026-08-19, version 1.9.0* The art is cute, and it’s got many moving parts to keep it from being monotonous, but I have two issues: 1. The resource deficit is ridiculous. This’s my third day playing, and it’s like they don’t even WANT you to play if you don’t want to spend money. You can’t merge items without something named ‘energy,’ and you can’t read the story without in game currency; once you get past the honeymoon phase (around level 12 or 13), you run out of resources to move through the story OR merge. Energy will replenish with time, but it takes quite a bit of time to get a meaningful amount of it, and you need it in order to get in game currency. Once in a while, they will allow you to watch an ad for energy, but the option disappears, which is strange because most games allow ads for perks. Since I understand the value of a dollar, I’m simply not going to dump my money into getting different graphics on a screen, so I wind up merging some stuff, then become stuck because I have nothing to do, and close the game. Strange how they make a game they don’t want you to actually play; they just want a paycheck. Also, the ‘orders’ you need to fulfill become more and more high level items, so you need to make, like, 50 of the base items to reach the item. Maybe a solution would be to have access to item generators that base generate higher level items? Because it’s gone from fun to tedious and annoying to make higher level items. Like, you literally just want to let out a sigh and roll your eyes when you see you need another pink strawberry roll cake. 2. (Potential spoiler if I’m correct, so read with caution.) Story wise, it seems pretty obvious to me that this Edward guy didn’t actually betray the main character, and he probably broke things off with her because he was ‘just trying to protect her’ from the bad guys, and it’s going to be revealed that he loved her all along, and knows Ella is the woman he knocked up (you just know he’s going to tell her he knew it was her all along), and that’s why he’s simultaneously pushing her to leave and weasel his way back into her life, and I’m sorry, but that’s obnoxious, and not what I signed up for. I downloaded this for the feminine rage and revenge plot that they advertise, not ‘oopsy doodles! This was all just a misunderstanding, and he’s still your dream guy who’s going to come to your rescue, and was secretly helping you along the entire time! You’re going to end up as a big, happy family with a dalmatian and a successful business: #GirlGoals!’ B.S., tired, idealistic story I’ve seen a million times. I swear, why are people too cowardly to bite the bullet, and go for an actual revenge plot? Girl, embarrass him, ruin his life, then file for child support: STIR THE POT! I guess we’ll see if I’m twisted about nothing for issue two, but issue one is a big deal. Please allow us people who want to, both, play a game AND afford groceries to access resources, because this is completely untenable. ### 2/5 — Nope. Just…Nope. *2026-08-18, version 1.8.1* I just downloaded this game and already know I’m not going to play long term. The dense, gameplay and graphics are fine — but you must have energy to play, and it can only be earned over time (A LONG TIME) or purchased. That means if you regularly want to play, you’ve regularly got to pay. While I have no problem buying boosters for games, it’s ridiculous (and not sorry: arrogant) to expect players to buy gems for energy daily if they simply want to play your game. However, once you hit about level 13-15, you either have to start waiting two hours for energy to restore or you can start spending money for energy. You can use gems for energy, but when you start doing that, the gem cost goes up 10 more gems, so you can get 100 energy for 10 gems the first time, then the second time it’s 20 gems and so on. And 100 energy doesn’t even complete one dish. You literally have to use thousands of energy to even get one dish finished. I’m only sorry I didn’t realize this before I purchased their monthly deal. I will be requesting a refund through Apple. If you have lots of money to throw away, this game is for you. If not, I’d bypass it and find something else. ### 1/5 — Forcing Players to Spend *2026-08-03* I wanted to let you know that I’m uninstalling the game. As feedback, I want to say that people play games to relax their minds or to pass the time when they’re bored. Instead, it feels like you’re constantly pushing players to buy more gems. On top of that, not everyone has the time to open the game every few hours just to wait for energy to refill and then play again. It makes the game feel more like a chore than something enjoyable. Neben June‘s Journey das allerbeste Spiel aller Zeiten!!!
