Their refund system is seriously flawed and is having a negative impact on small businesses like mine. Customers are able to make false refund claims far too easily, and in many cases, businesses are left to cover the cost without proper investigation. I’m losing money and valuable business because of this, which is incredibly frustrating when we work hard to provide good food and service. It feels as though Just Eat is protecting dishonest claims instead of supporting the businesses that keep their platform running. Just Eat really needs to improve the way refunds are handled and put better measures in place to prevent fraudulent claims. Small businesses shouldn’t have to suffer financial losses because of an unfair and poorly managed system. ### 1/5 — Appalling Customer service *2026-06-17* I’ve been on just eat for 8 years and in that time I’ve seen them go from bad to worse. They’ve now tried to turn their customer service over to a.i. But like everything else they do they’ve done on the cheap and it’s not fit for service?? The only thing worse is the customer service team behind it who close tickets that have been raised without solving the problem we’ve reported. It’s like they think they run our business handing out free meals and refunds whenever they feel like it without speaking to us??? It’s well known online by just eat customers now order your food, get what you like then just report it as late, cold or whatever other made up excuse and you’ll automatically get your money back. I now keep weeks of receipts just to keep addresses so I can ban these customers, no other food delivery outlet does this??? I’m constantly having to check orders to see how much their automatic systems have refunded customers🤬 They’ve altered how reviews are done so now every business is 5⭐️, really?? We worked hard for that ranking and suddenly business’s in the area that we’re 2-3⭐️ are right up there 5⭐️🤬 90% of support requests are dealt with poorly, recently asked for a slight increase on a few items on our menu because again their technical department can’t work out why we can’t access our own menu online and instead of the few increases they reduced 90% of the menu costing us £100’s over 3 days while we tried to work out exactly what was wrong to the point of having to come offline and wait for them to sort the issue, 48hrs in now still no progress. Unfortunately it seems all these take away management services are the same. Flipdish and uber eats are the best of a bad bunch don’t use just eat, Deliveroo, food hub and don’t contemplate any without your own drivers. Asked several times for my money back and take me off the site but this is ignored too 🤬🤬🤬 ### 1/5 — Counter productive log in every time *2024-04-28* Used to be good and fast now every time I launch this app, it goes lengthy process to log in, verify bla bla bla… useless app! ### 1/5 — 0 Stars *2024-03-02* Refunding customers without hearing from the restaurant. As soon as a customer lies and claims that an item of their order was missing or something was wrong with the food. Justeat will refund them straight away but not from their own pocket, rather from the restaurants account. This is appalling and justeat should ring the restaurant straight away to hear both sides of the story. They send an email in which they say write a response if you disagree, however after you write the response you do not get any replies from justeat telling you if the refund is given or not. ### 1/5 — Terrible Keeps Crashing, Loading Errors *2023-11-05* The app when it works can be useful But it’s very slow, Lags, crashes and logs me out and I’m using the latest iPhone. Changes don’t save and overall I resort to using google chrome to manage things. Such a shame, it seriously needs developing and work for it to be useful to business owners especially high turnover ones that bring Just Wat Local Legend quality business. Please fix ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2023-10-13* I used the app fine for around 9 months. The last two weeks I’m unable to see any of my data. I’ve deleted it and re downloaded it but there is just a blank page that keep refreshing to another blank page. Awful app. ### 1/5 — Get worse and worse and worse every update *2023-10-06* To add to the already existing bugs now the app doesn’t let you log into the app properly. When you log in it loads a screen that says “already logged in” with no other buttons to press. Think twice before you decide to use just eat for online orders if you intend to manage your restaurant remotely. ### 1/5 — Trash *2023-09-04* I don’t know who built this app. For such a big corporation can’t they even have a decent app or a working app. You can’t tick box to terms and condition because you haven’t formatted for it to scroll. It looks like the app was built by toddlers. Hire a proper developer to get the app working its a shame for such a big company. ### 1/5 — Limited function - listen to your partners *2023-08-14* This app’s functionality is very barebones - Just like the in-store tablet. There is no consistency with drivers and there’s no way to track where they are (because they are doing something else instead of collecting food!) There’s a lot to learn from the other platforms, there’s a reason why our order ratio vs Menulog is 10:1 ### 1/5 — So many issues learn from ubereats *2023-06-20* The partner centre on phone keels logging me out after every use. The instore partner centre should show us the driver on a map to see how far they are from the shop as the time given is not accurate at all and it keeps changeing. We’ve had drivers being due in 1 mins change to 20mins. The food is prepared and it sit with not sign of the driver and if the customers receive cold food they ring the store and complain that the food isn’t freshly done.
