Very naive concept by a dev who pushes this app on an unsuspecting group of people, merely programming their own biases into the app. This design not only pushes an outdated and unscientific view of compatibility, but also opens up ethical issues around physical safety in the way it has been designed. The group of people that this app was sprung on on Valentine’s day, a paying group of customers for a dating event, were instead pressured to download and use this half-baked app and be beta testers. Just another example or someone who is well-intentioned but did not do enough self reflection on whether or not they were really the savior that the dating world was needing.

I think this is such a great concept for a dating app and is so needed! It fills a gap for sure. I believe this aproach is the future of dating apps. I spend so much time swiping and messaging on other apps, it’s stupid. And most people I talk to say they don’t like texting so much, and they’d rather just meet.
