## What is Just Music?

Hellenic Music is a registered company that provides a wide range of traditional Greek songs, played by professional and long experienced teachers recognized from all over Greece.

We are the only site that provides not simply music videos but real teaching by professional, recognized Greek teachers, guaranteed, have excellent biography critics and they are well known in Greece and not only for their transmissibility and talent on several music schools.

Now you can have access easily with low cost without moving from your house, 24 hours a day/365 days a year, to high level and quality lessons.

We know Greek music from the inside which has been developed in parallel with the Byzantine church music and popularized mainly by oral means. It was also unknown in which words known church members were replaced several times with satirical versions and sung at parties and festivals. Throughout the history of Greek music we can see also how much is closed with the western church music of the Middle Ages. Greek traditional music came from Byzantine music and affects with more eastern sounds the whole western music. These compositions have existed for centuries: they originated in the Byzantine period and Greek antiquity, there is a continuous change which appears in the language, the rhythm, the structure and the melody. Music is a significant aspect of Hellenic culture, both within Greece and its diaspora.

The big advantage of Greek traditional music is that players can give their own character and style through improvisation on play always based on the original sheet music without distortion.
