They make you pay if you want zero ads which is not that much, especially for the yearly subscription. The only thing that I wish it could fix is when you’re watching a movie; when you search it up rather than looking for it through the main page. It won’t allow you to switch the screen sideways so you can watch the movie or show bigger. What I mean by this is on an iPhone when you press the portrait orientation button and flip the phone to the side to watch the movie or show bigger it crashes.
