When I’m out and don’t have my laptop with me, I opt for this app to write down my thoughts and ideas. Though I wish there was a feature that lets you sync across devices that’s not through iCloud. I can’t exactly rewrite it because I was noting as I go. ### 2/5 — Déçue par surprise *2026-03-31, version 2.0.0* j’étais ravis de l’application, elle était super j’aimais beaucoup y écrire. mais lorsque j’ai commencer un livre dans la section iCloud pour être sûr de le sauvegarder et de l’avoir qu’importe la situation, qu’elle ne fut pas ma surprise de premièrement ne pas retrouver mon histoire en téléchargeant l’appli sur mon iPad qui a le même iCloud et d’en plus réouvrir l’appli sur mon téléphone pour voir que il n’y a plus que le dossier de mon histoire et plus aucun document à l’intérieur. comment les retrouver? est ce un bug? je suis très déçue et attristé j’adorais ce que j’avais écrit! ### 2/5 — Lost my writing *2026-03-21, version 2.0.0* This app so desperately needs a sign in option besides the iCloud because I had to get a new iCloud and I lost all of my writing, I am so devastated. All that is there is a faint, horizontal line that is what I just typed. Not useful. It would seem that no one actually tried using that feature. You do have the promise of being a useful tool. Sometimes I have the need to create a pure text file and many apps actually create rtf files saying it’s flat text. ### 5/5 — I love Just Write *2026-03-01, version 2.0.0* I love Just Write! I’m writing a book using it and it hasn’t deleted it yet- if it deletes yours, I recommend to send it to yourself in mail- that’s how I got mine to save so I could publish it when I’m done with it without it deleting. I highly recommend using this app if you’re writing for fun or if you’re thinking to make a book to publish. There’s no ads and there’s no limit to how much you can write like how for some apps you need to pay to write more books or chapters or whatever. If you want to get an app to write on, Just write is perfect for that. You use to be able to paste it and it automatically be in the same font, side and format as everything else, now it doesn't do that. This app is a waste of space, it also deletes entire paragraphs if you touch the curved arrows. The creator was lazy or greedy, not making it easy to send documents by email. A few lines of code would enable this. It is a scam, and I am rewriting everything on here. I have screenshot all of my work, and sent it as photos on my email so I can delete this garbage. Heartbreaking. ### 1/5 — Don’t use on two different devices *2026-01-10, version 2.0.0* I installed the app in my iPhone and iPad. I wrote 5 pages while using my iPhone. I saved it to my iCloud and closed the app. The next day I used my iPad and wrote about 7 pages. I saved the document and closed the app on my iPad. I then opened the app and document on my iPhone and it was missing the 7 pages from the iPad. I think the app cashes the documents. I quickly closed the app and checked the document on the iPad and the 7 pages were gone ### 1/5 — Deletes your work *2025-12-21, version 2.0.0* Sincerely disappointed with this app. Saved my document that I’d been working on for days, yet when I returned to review it, the document was shortened to a condensed version having deleted everything else.
