I have been so frustrated with Ultimate Guitar’s Tabs and Chords app. I’ve had nothing but trouble with songs disappearing from my set list, the scroll speed changing randomly, my song edits disappearing, the constant ads, the promotion of services I don’t need or want. FINALLY I discovered JustChords and it gives me EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for in a tabs / chords app… JUST THE CHORDS! It’s even in the name! It also loads as a plugin in my DAW on iPad so no more switch apps. I’m grateful that it’s not subscription based as well. Best app for tab/chords I’ve seen yet. THANK YOU 💕

I was a user of OnSong until they stopped supporting the app that I had purchased and created an inferior subscription version.  I found JustChords by chance and have been extremely happy with it.  It works every bit as well as the original OnSong app and better in some circumstances.  The app is constantly getting quality of life updates and has significantly improved over the last year and a half that I’ve been using it.  There’s a a link within the app to a very lengthy list of items that have been improved upon; are in the process of being improved upon and are planned for future versions.  The developer has also been very responsive to inquiries in the rare times that I’ve needed to reach out on something.  If you get the app and like it, do give these guys a tip from time to time.  I feel the amount of work that’s constantly being done definitely warrants a few bucks.  I couldn’t say the same for OnSong.

I have tried several other, probably more popular apps but have found JustChords  hits the sweet spot for me. Simple to navigate, easy to edit and not overly heavy with 100 different options. Not knocking the more advanced apps but for a part time gigging drummer and guitar player/singer it hits the spot “Just Right” and at a better price too.

So I started using this app like a week ago, and I literally LOVE it so much. I lead music for my church and all of our iPads use this app. It’s COMPLETELY FREE for one, which is hard to find lol. And secondly it keeps ALL of my songs in order and it lets me transpose the key. Also I play piano and it will show you the chords and stuff, or if your like me and don’t need that than you can turn it off. I’m just trying to let y’all know about this app cause I read these reviews to see if it’ll be good and PRAISE THE LORD it is!!!!! So DEFINITELY recommend, btw still haven’t gave me any problems.

I have been using OnSong for probably 10 years. It’s always had some weird quirks and did many things that I just wasn’t interested in. JustChords has been a fantastic app for me and has replaced on song without a problem. The fact that all my devices sync easily. The fact that you can easily search for a song and imported. You will not go wrong with this app. And of course at the moment it’s free.
