I have contacted them several times about not being able to recover photos and I have received emails saying that they have server issues. This had persisted for over a month. I am now trying to a refund, since the service is not being provided if I can not access the files. My last note to them on 1/24 requesting a refund has not been answered. I wonder if the company is still even active. ### 1/5 — Only good if your files are actually backed up! *2017-12-08* The interface is great. The principle is great. It even backs up your Nas and keeps files in the same format, so that the user can understand and select individual files if needed to restore. Great! NO! NO! NO! My advise to any user of cloud backup, is to drop a file, maybe a sage50 backup and tag it in the file select area of the program. Let it run the back procedure and go and check if it’s backed up. Sometime it does and sometimes it doesn’t. This won’t matter whilst your testing until the day comes when you really really need to restore it, and hey it never got included. If you stay with this very poor system I urge you to regularly check if important files ARE ACTUALLY there! This has happened many many times. Support say you may need to re-download the program to sort this out! Email in and we will have a look. Unless you can confirm all files you sent to upload are actually uploaded and available to download, should the worst happens one day you are in for a great shock. Good luck one day you are going to need it! ### 2/5 — Missing files *2017-11-12* The perfect backup system for me until a few months ago the app wouldn't show 90% of the files that had been backed up. The internet shows the files have been saved but when I'm out and about I sometimes need easy access. I informed Just Cloud in September and again just recently but all I got was, we are currently facing an issue and the development team have been informed.....and have probably got better things to do. ### 1/5 — Annoying Emails *2016-11-15, version 1.3.13* I keep getting annoying emails from Gabriel,accounts manager, about deleting my files. I keep replying for them to go ahead and delete whatever is there. This has been ongoing for several months! Enough already! ### 1/5 — AWFUL SPAMWARE AVOID *2016-11-14, version 1.3.13* Terrible buggy app could never upload my files. I deleted two years ago and these guys ("Gabriel" my account manager) continues to harass me by email and phone. Why would apple let an app like this in their store? I have never left a bad review but these guys are scam artists and you are a fool to download and give them your information. ### 1/5 — Absolutely the worst app ever *2016-11-03, version 1.3.13* Doesn't work. Gets confused with something called zipcloud. I paid for a subscription in August and now some other company wants to bill me. Fortunately this was just supposed to be a redundant backup so I won't lose any files when I nuke the app. ### 1/5 — This is a Rain Cloud..... *2016-10-09, version 1.3.13* I have thousands of photos to back up and share. This app asks if I want to back them up. Awesome! However, despite everything I have tried....after only 20 or so uploads, it stops and retries due to some unknown error. I consider myself computer literate and work with similar apps regularly. I found NO cure for this problem and am officially Giving Up! 👎🏿😡😡 ### 1/5 — Just Cloud *2016-09-04, version 1.3.13* Does not keep their word !!! It means nothing to them !! Support is terrible. Full of popups to sell you upgrades. Expensive too. Stay away from them ### 1/5 — What a joke *2016-05-14, version 1.3.13* My bank account keeps getting charged $8.95. I have tried desperately to stop the charges. Looks like I will have to cancel my card to elevate this issue. ### 1/5 — Annoying *2016-05-06, version 1.3.13* I cancelled my account and had to cancel my credit card because they were relentless in trying to charge the renewal to my credit card. My bank told me the only way to stop them was to cancel my card. Then the phone calls started. I tried to block them but another number would pop up. I'd read about their constant email scam and did not want to be overwhelmed with messages from them. Fortunately, I had given them a ghost email account because they don't take "stop sending emails" for an answer. Who knows how many emails they've sent, but I don't have to delete daily emails from my phone, computer and tablet. I wasn't crazy about their service and after Dropbox deleted all my photos from my mobile devices, I've dumped them too. Google photos, despite some flaws is my go to cloud service. Beware of JustCloud. They're like bed bugs. You'll have to move or die, and even that won't stop them from the onslaught of emails. If you contact them and tell them you have a new email account and give them a ghost email address, they'll usually stop sending emails to your primary email account. If you contact them by phone, use a phone belonging to an annoying friend or family member and file that under Karma. ### 1/5 — Spammers Still! *2016-05-04, version 1.3.13* Once they have your email they keep sending you spam, no matter how many times you unsubscribe. My hosting company offered this as a promo. Now I’m thinking about getting a new hosting company as well if they do business with these spammers. Update: months later they still ignore the Unsubscribe I keep putting into their website. ### 1/5 — Stay far away!!! Terrible software company *2016-05-01, version 1.3.13* They lost my data. I would like to delete my Paid account! Please ### 1/5 — The Absolute Worst *2016-04-03, version 1.3.13* This app used to work. Until, a few months ago, when half of my files were deleted. They said they are trying to recover them but that was over a month ago. Now the app doesn't even backup my phone's pics and videos anymore. It's merely taking up space. Once I backup everything elsewhere, I will delete it and cancel my service. I keep sending you emails back saying yes, delete the fricken files. So delete them already. Stop sending me emails about it. If you're going to send me emails asking a question, perhaps (if it isn't too much trouble) you could actually pay attention to the response. I can get no support, have no way to download my 40K+ files other than doing it individually. The “help” site is awful and there is no way to get in touch with the company (emails go unanswered). Stay well away!! ### 1/5 — Should be ban from App Store *2021-08-25, version 1.5.0* If you have a political opinion the Marxists running Apple don’t like, they ban your app. But if you openly screw buyers over, that’s apparently fine with Apple. This app is an absolute scam. They spam you and call you aggressively. You try to sign up for an account and you are rejected. Be sure not to use your real password. This app has no place on the App Store. ### 1/5 — App no longer supported? *2019-05-17* The app hasn’t been updated in 3 years and no longer works on my iPhone X. It says that it can’t access my photos and to change the privacy settings for this app but when I try that it doesn’t work. I would have expected updates each time a new iOS comes out but no! I have contacted their support team who have passed it on to the developers but still no resolution after a month or 2. When I backup files from my laptop it tells me files have backed up but I can’t see them again contacted support and again referred to developers but still no answer. In the meantime they have taken my annual subscription over £200. It looks like this app is no longer supported so I will be moving to a new cloud supplier. These guys are very expensive and appear not to be interested in any problems you have. USE AT YOUR PERIL!!!! ### 1/5 — Justgarbage *2019-05-03, version 1.3.13* Services are garbage and billing practices are predatory. Quick google search will fill you in. Called to speak with representative and did not speak English and had trouble with email address. Call hung up. ### 1/5 — Great until you try to get your files back *2018-03-22, version 1.3.13* I can see the files on the app, but I can't download them. So I tried everything that justcloud had to offer (with the app they provide for backup and restore, on my computer on Firefox, chrome, and edge logged in to their website I actually tried to download them one by one, I tried to use FileZilla and transfer via ftp). I cannot get my files back! I have every vital file on my Mac backed up to Justcloud (338gb.) and all of that available on demand on my old iPhone 3GS. What more could I ask? I'll tell you what... a little better initial instruction regarding the Time Machine backups on the Mac. I can't fault the response of the help desk team but the written info is a bit GeekSpeak for me. I decided to let it keep backing up the backup files for now until I can think my way through it but don't let any of this put you off. The retrieval GUI is simple and easy to use. If you are on a normal broadband i.e. 11m download and .85m upload then a backup the size of mine can take several weeks to complete. After that, schedule for idle time backups and they are mostly very quick. Glad I found it. Thanks to the others who left a positive review. Bill ### 5/5 — Fantastic cloud back up *2013-09-12* Great back up, I have 4 devices that if lost or damaged can be backed up and running within hours of receiving a new device. The cost is really good considering what it would cost with tape back up. I've saved over £2,000 in back up costs in just the first year! The auto back up works without worrying if it has backed up as you receive a report after every back up for each device. Keep your data safe! ### 5/5 — Just Riding the cloud *2013-08-19, version 1.2.1* I have had Just Cloud for less than a day. So far it has outperformed every of the several cloud service I have tried and is significantly less expensive. . Speed, accuracy, flexibility, complete access to EVERYTHING among other neat services and best if all, I am thrilled with the cost. I have many TB of "stuff" accumulated throughout my life, much of which I cherish. I suppose I should not put a price on it, but I do cuz I can now! ### 5/5 — Mr *2013-08-13* So far so good. Does exactly what it says. Paid extra so that we could upload files from our NAS server and currently near 1Tb uploaded. At first found upload speeds slow like some of the reviews but after testing found this was our ISP provider (called V.....) after paying extra to our ISP provider to get a much faster broadband now have upload speed of over 10Mb. Its easy to see what has been uploaded under differing folders from our iPad, iMac and NAS. Tried some downloads and restores fine. Had a couple of queries, emailed for advice and response was very quick. Generally pleased and relieved to have our files backed up and accessible everywhere.
