I’ve had a plumber, an electrician and even a plasterer on this app. And there’s no drama at all. I got the electrician while I was on the loo and noticed the bathroom light was flickering and it was fixed the next day. App works well - Just makes getting jobs sorted as easy as an Uber. I have been able to order a tradesperson really easily, the whole process was fantastic. JustFix takes the stress out of home maintenance. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Hired someone and a crack head turned up *2024-09-13, version 1.0.5* Used the app to book a professional, was a bit worried when I couldn’t see any reviews but decided to use anyway. Someone turned up 6 hours late and was clearly on drugs, me kept talking about my body and wanting to touch it, he made me feel uncomfortable ### 1/5 — Do not use for white good repairs *2024-05-17* DO NOT USE FOR WHITE GOOD REPAIRS! I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service I received from their contractor. The issue I reported was with my Electrolux built-in dishwasher, which was not heating correctly as per the job description. Unfortunately, the tradesman's behavior and work were unacceptable. He was unpleasant and unprofessional, and failed to diagnose the problem properly. Despite mentioning before the job being booked that there would be no car parking on site, he mentioned it multiples times and said he would not have taken the job otherwise. I wrote to their Chief Fixer Simon and also spoke to their manager Kathleen the following week and was told that they advised the works to repair the dishwasher would exceed £200 and uneconomical to fix and STILL charged for half the call out with VAT. I do not believe it's justifiable to be charged for his services. We have since directly contracted with Electrolux. They were able to diagnose the issue, they have ordered and replaced the spare parts including the visit for <£200 including 2 visits. I simply cannot recommend JustFixIt. It’s completely unjustifiable to charge fees for something they did not do! ### 2/5 — Nobody showed up *2024-08-10, version 1.0.5* I found the app just googling for local handyman. Placed the job there, the app found the handyman in 20 seconds, I booked it about a week in advance. The app has been sending me reminders about the job, the time period was set as 8-12 in the morning; however, nobody showed up neither in the morning nor in the afternoon and nobody called either. The app doesn’t have any contacts of the tradesperson or support line. Later I found client support number (via WhatsApp) in the email confirmation for the job, but nobody responded there either. I put 2 stars because the app has good design and layout, intuitively easy to follow, but apparently doesn’t have anything but that. What I am worried about now is that request for job is still open as “pending amount” to pay, and I am little concerned of simply deleting my profile without having that issue sorted. ### 4/5 — Are they for real? *2024-11-05, version 1.0.5* Im not sure this company is even for real. I put a booking in, but then due to illness I had to try and change the date. However, they dont reply to emails, they dont answer the phone number they give you, and in their app they only give the option of cancelling, which incurs a cost of £24. I wonder how many of these reviews are actually for real?
