### 4/5 — This App Rocks - almost five star!!

*2022-10-28, version 4.1.3*

I've had nothing but a great experience with Just Wink! While they used to have a wide assortment of cards and creative ways to use them they no longer have warm, beautiful cards to send to family and friends. I miss warm, lovely cards to send to my mom and my daughters. Beware trying to sign your name though… It's much harder than you would imagine! Greet On!!

### 4/5 — Always delivers!

*2021-04-10, version 4.1.1*

It’s hard trying to be creative and funny all the time, but you manage to have the gems for everyone! Few miss the mark but that could be the point. You have the algorithms to drop some designs and keep the ageless stars and you have the creative teams to keep everyone using the app. Pizza for everyone or bagels with coffee, maybe a trip to a restaurant or even a trash landfill for inspiration!

### 4/5 — Was better...

*2020-05-07, version 4.0.1*

This app was worth five stars but now they they Took away the gift card option and want you to subscribe AND locked all the cards I used to use I have been forced to use another app. Im so mad. It is still reliable if I need to send a card real quick but if it is more than that. I have to move on. I know you all have to make money but I want more options over time, not less. Thx.😊

### 5/5 — Best. Cards. Ever!

*2019-11-28, version 3.3.3*

I don’t do reviews, but gladly did this one when asked! I have been using Wink for years, and my friends and family love it! I’ve always found the perfect card for each occasion, whether it be birthdays, holidays, personal achievements, silly, or difficult times. New cards show up regularly, while old favorites are always available. Best card app out there!

### 5/5 — Ok

*2019-10-26, version 3.3.3*

Trying to like it, but it’s just not working for me. Made a card and got to the payment part, realized I didn’t have my card. Finally got to my card, had a few seconds to do the payment before kids needed me. Realized it would make me remake the entire card and put info in again. So now it’s 3 days later and I still haven’t gotten around to having the card with me at the sane time as having time to make the stupid thing over again. Just save the dang progress of the card, if not anything else.

### 5/5 — Such Fun Cards!

*2019-09-10, version 3.3.3*

I’ve sent 4 JustWink cards in the last 2 days to friends with September birthdays. That’s a lot of card buying, stamping and mailing I didn’t have to do!
JustWink has great ways to personalize your cards too, including adding a voice message which you can edit until you get it just right.
Bravo to this fun and creative app!👏👏👏

### 5/5 — So freaking adorable

*2019-06-11, version 3.3.3*

I was looking at app so I could send my niece a happy birthday card. And I found this app it is amazing the cards are incredible and you get a totally make it your own. You get to add in your own special messages voice messages on the pictures it’s really good

### 5/5 — Easy, Fun, & creative!!

*2019-02-03, version 3.3.3*

I love using this app. I can send a last minute birthday card via text or email. I can also mail an actual paper card to my grandma 👵🏽!! I love the fact I can send gift cards to my kiddos, it’s all digital and easy to use, you just attach the gift card to the justWink card for any occasion. One of My favorite apps!!

### 5/5 — Love this app/service!

*2018-11-08, version 3.3.3*

I really appreciate having these cards available and use them frequently. I would like to have a “save draft (?)” option to revisit; and I do have a difficult time with the signature part, hard for my big clumsy fingers to get something worth using 🤨.
Love it though...THANKS !!

### 5/5 — Always a with me

*2018-10-26, version 3.3.3*

I really LOVE this app. Makes it SO easy to send cards to people. There is a great selection of hilarious cards, and that makes the app special.

But honestly I love it so much because it never fails, always comes out good, and is a straight forward pricing structure.

Two FYI items:
1) the user interface is pretty archaic. I don’t think it’s changed much at all since it’s come out —> but if it aight broken, don’t fix it.
2) they are starting to get some cards that are more appropriate for non-halarious situations. Sometimes I’d like to use this after a networking even but the selection of more professional cards is lite.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — So sad!

*2020-02-19, version 3.3.3*

They took away the USPS mail function which was the most awesome part of this app! For the same price but less time of actually going to the store to pick out a card, I could still mail my family and friends a personalized card right from the app. I had received SO many compliments when someone would receive an actual card in the mail with a personal note and picture on it....highly disappointed that the option is no longer available.

### 1/5 — Thanks for the update that robbed me of my purchases

*2020-02-13, version 3.3.3*

I suppose it was a matter of time that American GREEDings thirst for cash would get in the way. Now all their cards are based on a subscription model. The thing that makes me mad is I bought A LOT of these packs over the years. They still have the little unlock symbol next to them but if I try to use them they want me to subscribe to use the cards I already purchased! Restore doesn’t work either. Way to change the rules in the middle of the game. I’ll give them a little time to see if they fix it, otherwise, adios Just Wink

### 2/5 — What happened to physically sending cards

*2021-09-25, version 4.1.1*

I remember when you used to be able to have these amazing cards mailed- either blank to yourself or personalized to a recipient. I just subscribed for a year ($30), as I was making a personalized card anticipating I would be able to mail it (and others later throughout the year), only to learn after confirmed & paid that it will only be sent electronically as an e-card. Super super disappointed & out of thirty bucks. Even though I am environmentally conscious, nothing like getting cards in the mail- instead of primarily bills and junk.

### 2/5 — Use to be my favorite

*2020-06-29, version 4.0.1*

This use to be my favorite greeting card app. I’ve bought 2 packages before their switch to a subscription base. I’ve even reached out to their customer service about my paid packages that are requiring me to pay for subscription and provided proof of previous text message where I used those paid promo pack cards. I was told it was resolved; which it’s not because it’s still asking me to unlock and purchase a subscription. Unfortunately, I don’t have the energy to go through another customer service resolution, and I can see I’m not the only user having that issue as posted in the review comments.

This once use to be an amazing app. Create cool cards and send to friends, family or whomever. They have a variety of card options for you to choose. Sadly, I will be looking for another app - I’m not fond of loosing my paid primo pack purchases and being told “unfortunately we are unable to view which volume you purchased.“. New users may not experience issues like the pre-subscription phase users, who truly enjoyed the app that went ahead and purchase primo packs.

### 2/5 — Another loss benefit

*2020-06-18, version 4.0.1*

Just found out that I lost another benefit since they went to subscription-based. After purchasing several card packs in the old days prior to them switching to subscription-based, we used to be able to create a card and then pick the date we want it sent. That option has now been taken away from us too. Now you have to have a paid subscription in order to choose a send date. You can’t even create a card and save it for later. Why don’t you try switching to an ad-based platform. This way you can keep the features that people originally signed up for and wanted and you still would be able to generate revenue.

**Developer response:** Your card packs are still available and can be found within the category that they belong. In addition we offer hundreds of free cards for you to send within the app!

### 2/5 — It’s gotten worse

*2020-05-10, version 4.0.1*

I loved using the justwink website to send ecards as well as hard copy cards. Endless personalization option and many free cute card options. The website is gone (thanks American Greetings!) and you’re required to download an app if you want to use justwink to send ecards like before. The app does not have the same options as the previous web interface, there are fewer options, and it’s more expensive. Why mess with a good thing?

### 3/5 — Love cards, tech can be improved

*2020-05-11, version 4.0.1*

I’ve been a fan of JustWink for years! I LOVED the website and I’m sad that we can send through that anymore. I just discovered the app and it’s decent and we still get access to the same great cards.

Two major issues:

1) Saving your work. It would be SUPER helpful if we could save our cards as we go and hit send once we’re ready. For example, I have 15 thank you cards to send but I’m having a hard time not being able to hit send one after another AFTER I’ve drafted.

2) You can’t paste into the app. I drafted out all of my cards and I’d love to be able to paste and go. Instead I’ll be retyping each one individually.

These two improvements would make a huge difference and I would use this app all the time if these functionality issues were improved. I’m going to see how it goes doing this by hand and sending one at a time (I wanted them to all go out at 10PM after an event and now I’ll be spending the hour typing and sending instead).

I never write reviews but I like these cards so much so I wanted to give feedback in hopes this happens!

### 3/5 — I miss the old

*2020-03-19, version 4.0.1*

Version! I bought extras when it was a set price but I won’t do a subscription to anything!

It’s too bad because I really liked this app!
Shouldn’t have changed it! At least not for the loyal customers who had already purchased card packs! I feel like I was cheated out of those bonus packs because I can’t tell which ones they were when all mixed up like now!

### 3/5 — 2 big problems, 1 small one

*2020-02-25, version 3.3.3*

This is almost the perfect app for sending e-cards, but there are 3 problems...

1) There is no option to pay for one card at a time anymore. You’re only option is to pay $20/year to unlock the cards. If you send a a lot, that’s fine, but if you only need to send a couple a year, you don’t want another recurring subscription. I’d rather just pay as I go.

2) There is no option to include any e-gift card. Other apps like Ink offer this.

3) The signature feature is glitchy. It doesn’t register the first part of every stroke. So the beginning of each letter gets cut off and looks like a young child signed it. Even after the last update, it still has not been fixed.

### 3/5 — Two things

*2018-10-24, version 3.3.3*

First, text added to the cards is too small to read when opened on an iPhone. Can’t seem to make the card large enough to fill the screen. Second, the number of cards to choose from is very limited since I don’t want to use those referring to alcohol and being drunk. Wish there were more cute, funny ones.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — One of My Favorite Apps

*2023-01-31, version 4.1.3*

I love Just Wink because they cover a lot of categories and present many styles. I almost always add a photo, and I manage to get something that resembles my actual signature using only my figure. They make all options easy-peasy!

### 5/5 — Crying but in a good way…

*2022-09-19, version 4.1.3*

This is the best app ever!!! The cards are too funny and it’s so easy to use. I love making someone’s day in a matter of minutes - especially, when my day isn’t so great - perfect pick-me-up…off the floor drowning in my own despair. No, really, this is so great! Love it!!

### 5/5 — Favorite cards ever BUT….

*2021-12-19, version 4.1.1*

These are my favorite cards ever BUT why did you remove the option to mail a paper card to recipients????? That was the best feature of your app! My family and friends love receiving paper cards! When I try to find specific cards of yours at brick and mortar stores they’re never in stock. Please bring this option back! PLEASSSEEEE!!!

### 5/5 — Perfect every time

*2021-07-17, version 4.1.1*

LOVE this app for every moment!!! Always has the perfect card in just the way I'd say it my self !This app is never let me down it always lets me send the most personal card every time that always fits

### 5/5 — Love it.

*2020-09-24, version 4.0.2*

This app is easy to use, and it’s made it possible to send a greeting right in the moment you’re thinking of someone. The cards are funny. Some are sincere and sweet, so you can choose based on the occasion or person. And there’s a wide variety of occasions (and non-occasions) to choose from as well. Based on the number of times I’ve used it, price was a bargain. (But no need to raise the price, either.😉)

### 5/5 — ADORABLE

*2020-07-30, version 4.0.2*

Had to leave another review...today I received an email from justWink informing me they added more birthday cards. What a pleasant surprise. This company knows what their doing for sure. If you haven't downloaded the app...what are you waiting for. Trust me you'll be glad you did.

Just updated the app. Now it. Closes right after opening? 😫

### 5/5 — Birthday Cards

*2020-06-26, version 4.0.1*

App is great to use easy to compose and send with the different choices.
More variety of birthday cards would be great not to much choice even for lock cards.
A date for delivery function would be great to set up in advance.
Thinking of signing up yearly but the bday choices are so few. Will look @ other sites for choices then decide.

### 5/5 — THE BEST e-card app. Easy to use, very fun!

*2020-03-25, version 4.0.1*

Just Wink truly is very easy to use and very, VERY fun! I love the variety of ecard options and the sense of humor I’m able to find in these ecards!! Highly recommend. Have been using this app for almost ten years now I swear. I love to brighten someone’s day or make them laugh their a@$ off when they get one. Any occasion!!! Even non-occasions like just because, or even when sh!& is just getting real (in a good or a bad way) you will find an ecard that meets what you’re looking for, promise. Download TODAY! You won’t be disappointed.

### 5/5 — Great APP

*2020-02-14, version 3.3.3*

Paid for extra cards.. now they’re gone. Nice wanting a yearly subscription. Still can’t make the ink for what you write in a color you choose like it use to be. Would be helpful since I send cards to someone that’s color blind.

### 5/5 — Really? No more free options? Bye bye

*2020-02-11, version 3.3.3*

I’ve been a user for years and have always “settled” for the free cards because I’m not a moron and realize paying money to send an intangible item is fiscally irresponsible. JustWink decided to revamp its GUI and now seems to have put a mandatory annual subscription fee, locking everything unless you fork over $20. I would’ve settled for the ad thing but the idea of spending that much on nothing is a deal breaker. I can spend less and get real hallmark cards at the dollar store...I guess it’s back to the old school.

**Developer response:** We're sad to see you go, but wanted to let you know that there are still HUNDREDS of free cards in the app with more being published every once in a while!
