My mom also asked about it increasing text size. She wants to improve her English and I want to improve my Korean. I intend to use this app in conjunction with Mango Languages and Naver Papago. Regardless of which app I’m using I intend to write out what I’m learning to pronounce and even then I’m sure I’ll have low memory retention. This is because I’ve had at least one stroke and it’s getting harder and harder for me to remember even scriptures that I thought I’d never forget when I was decades younger. My mom has also had at least one stroke. She sometimes thinks her English is good enough but I reminded her, “mom, you speak Konglish.” Even though I’ve known her my whole life I often don’t understand everything she’s trying to tell me. I wonder if I’ll remember a new to me Korean sentence even if I hand write it 100 times in a row. That’s how bad my brain fart problems and Swiss cheese hole memory is. ### 5/5 — Buy!! The picture portions are very helpful in remembering the words. Before the app existed I found games to be a very effective way to learn but they had limited content beyond the basics. This is amazing! It covers basics and deeper vocabulary terms and phrases for advanced students. I particularly like that games can be done in different ways so that each learner can practice on what is the most difficult task for them. I highly recommend using this! Thank you so much! The settings to adjust the speed is perfect. This app is made with the clear goal in mind to help you learn and USE the language. For those trying to learn a language not yet supported on this app, mimicking your study of the language based on what is listed on this app with the other languages has been a useful tip. The information contained in this app is extremely practical and is the type that is used daily by those learning a foreign language as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. The ability to play audio for the phrase and not just read it is great! This app is a tremendous undertaking and the thought and care that went into developing it is overwhelming. It's truly appreciated that this app helps you not just preach in that language but really and fully function as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in that new language. For instance, phrases like "we will now watch this demonstration" are extremely difficult to learn in foreign language groups/congregations that have no native speakers or very little published literature. So, having it on this app is wonderful. I really like that you can choose any of the languages as your primary language instead of just assuming it's English. In a pinch it can used as a conversation translator. If someone doesn’t read their own language and you do not speak their language, you can press play to the audio and it speaks for you. So, having it downloaded in languages you don’t speak is helpful even if you’re not trying to learn it. I am learning Chinese Mandarin and noticed with the Grammar section there was no pinyin provided for the characters. Listening is very helpful, but to easily work on my pronunciation, it would be helpful to have pinyin readily available. Otherwise, I would have to use an external tool to look up the characters each time I forget a character.
