New in Korea, and everything is in Korean? K&U is built by international students at Kyungpook National University for the ones arriving after them. It started at KNU and now covers five campuses: KNU, Korea University, Korea University Sejong, Yonsei and Pusan National. TODAY'S MENU What the campus cafeterias are serving, in English - ten at KNU, four at Korea University, with the dish each cafeteria recommends marked. Refreshed every morning, so it is today's menu and not last week's. NOTICES THAT MATTER Dormitory payment deadlines, ARC appointments, health insurance, scholarship calls. The announcements that cost you money or a visa if you miss them, without wading through a Korean noticeboard. Turn notifications on and the new ones come to you. THE CAMPUS MAP More than a hundred places across the five campuses - where to eat, where to buy things, where the international office is. Tap any place for directions in Naver Maps, which is what actually works in Korea. Korea University's list runs to fifty buildings and says which cafe, bank or convenience store is inside each one. ASK ANYTHING A board where students answer each other. Which gate is closest to the metro, how to log in to the library, whether you can ship boxes to the dorm before you arrive. It is the same board the K&U websites use, so an answer reaches everyone at once - and a reply to your question comes back as a notification.
