I have been calling my bank in the philippines and according to them there is no transaction initiated from kabayan remit, the transaction ID/ref number is invalid. They’re not helping. No real help or clear updates on the status of my transaction. This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Until i get some pending on my chequing account and can’t use it for a while. And when I use my wife’s chequing account for payment, they said they dont accept 3rd party payment. What a waste to end using the app. Switching to different remittance now. They get your funds and hold it if it fails to get through. No matter how hard you reach the customer service, you get nothing and your money is floating around. They keep telling you that it is irreversible. Their favorite word is sorry but they are not. Don’t use this service. Use official partners of banks or any agents in the Philippines. Again. Limit per transaction is only 300usd and 500usd total per day. This is too low for overseas filipinos moving money for their families in the Ph. Called support to extend the limit and they cannot do anything about it unlike stable applications like western union and remitly. Reward point should benefit loyal users not pressure them to redeem points within such a short time frame. Extending the validity of reward point to one year would significantly improve the user experience.
