Lags, freezes, unexpected quit when you try to watch saved video. Let alone these intrusive attempts to get your personal information. Awful. This change makes it far more difficult for me to use and rely on Kacam to access my dashcam footage. Clearly you can access your videos if you phone isn’t left in your vehicle and their is no point of leaving your phone in your vehicle just to watch the videos it’s just not safe or smart. At first like anything you gotta get use to, you don’t use Bluetooth but WiFi to connect to it. I’ve had it for at least 2 years. It killed my battery the first month but I had to replace it either way. Once I replaced the battery on my 6yr old Grand Cherokee (which I had to do regardless). The dash cam runs so well, I mean I’m impressed the picture is near 4k and the details like speed, maps live tracking, and if you have a newer car like mine(2018) it’ll stay on even though you don’t Hotwire it to your car. ### 5/5 — Works great *2024-02-13, version 1.5.9* Tried for a couple days. Could the app be better? Yes. At the same time, I’m not going through the recordings daily and will only need it in case of an accident. I know how to get to the videos if needed and can easily download it to my photos. Bought my wife one as well.
