## What is Kachi?

Kachi is a cash book for people who take money in person. Log each sale as it happens — amount, category, cash or card — and see today's total without doing sums.

No account. No cloud. No tracking. Your ledger is one file on your phone, and it never leaves.

WHO IT IS FOR

Market and craft-fair stalls, food trucks and coffee carts, barbers and mobile hairdressers, nail techs, dog groomers, valeters, tutors, growers, buskers and event vendors. Anyone whose takings currently live in a notebook, a notes app, or nowhere at all.

HOW IT WORKS

Three taps to log a sale: amount, category, cash or card. Today's screen shows the running total and what is left in the drawer once expenses come off. Close the day and it is kept, with its total, ready to look back on.

PRIVACY, PLAINLY

There is no server. There is no sign-up. There is no analytics. Kachi cannot see your takings and neither can anyone else — there is nothing to breach and nothing to shut down. It works with no signal at all, which matters at a stall with one bar.

Moving to a new phone, or adding an iPad: back up to a file and import it on the other device. You move it yourself, because that is the only way the promise above stays true.
