Don’t use this app. Listen to the bad reviews. ### 2/5 — Hit or miss *2024-05-01, version 2.4.7* this app has tons of tutors that are frauds, don’t get me wrong that are some actual good ones but i’ve gotten more bad than good, i’ve gotten scammed out of over 400 dollars dealing with bad tutors. they really should do a better background check on who they let become tutors. they claim money back guaranteed but I have yet to receive an email back or a refund. you can test your luck. ### 1/5 — No response from support *2024-04-18, version 2.4.7* I’ve been waiting for my tutor account to be approved for over a month now with no response from support with any given means of communication. I continuously receive notifications of students needing help but am unable to respond or initiate due to not being approved. ### 1/5 — SCAM: Severe Lack of Admin Help *2024-03-15, version 2.4.7* I was a tutor on this app, but there is no help from these people. Kadama used to take 15% commission from every assignment they do. Now it’s double the commission at 30% with no explanation as to why. That, with my taxes, made half of what I charged being what I could actually save/spend. On top of that, I paid $35 for a verification on my account to be able to attract more clients. However, even after months, it says “pending verification.” I’ve contacted them about these issues multiple times, and they never respond. That’s why I quit this app. I should’ve just done some under the table deals via venmo, even if that’s against their policy, which also states that we can contact admin for issues. Clearly they violate that. These people should be ashamed of riding the fame and the money. They don’t understand how much work is put in to get paid, only for half of it to go to other people. I know taxation is also similar in that sense, but this company changes rules faster than a kid asking you to think a number they’re thinking of. ### 1/5 — Horrible support services *2024-03-06, version 2.4.7* I tutored on this app for several months and got several five star ratings. When I tried to tutor again, and had to pass a quiz, the app kept glitching and wouldn’t let me complete it. I contacted Support multiple times and never received a response. I also find that the percent taken away as a tutor is ridiculous . It is 30 percent in order to be able to maximize the amount of clients one can get . But i received 2 dishonest reviews which locked my account, my earnings prior to the lock are not being transferred to my stripe. It was going great, I loved making my own hours and choosing what I can help with. However, a year into the app and my account was suspended for a stupid reason. I appealed my banned account and never heard a word from anyone. I’ve been trying several times over the past two years to get my account back and nobody will reach out to me. I started using the app again as a student and could NEVER find a tutor willing or available to help. It seems like they need tutors but won’t reach back out to anyone. (based off comments and posts I’ve seen, I’m not alone in this.) Don’t waste your time as a student or tutor with this app. The “costumer service” is terrible and you’ll never hear from anyone.
