## Most critical reviews (4 lowest-rated)

### 4/5 — Superb, but…

Please consider more customizable day start times for users who work overnight. If I could have my day start from the hour I wake up, that would make a world of difference!

### 5/5 — Great tracker

Tracks anything!

### 5/5 — The BEST - A superb habit tracker app that also respects your privacy

Kadō is ingeniously designed, gorgeous, and refreshingly simple. It offers plenty of features for my needs and with great tracking and scoring options that don’t feel demanding, systematic, or “engagement-baity”.

Great habit measuring options as well. As someone who is now working to build new, lasting habits, this is an effective tool that feels like it’s working with me; not against me.

Kadō is also the only active-input habit tracker that offers flexible day start times, which is a feature I requested in my previous four start review! The turnaround on that was blazing fast. A move worthy of an immediate donation from me (did I mention this thing is FREE!?).

On the privacy front, I love that everything is on-device, requires no account, and that data can even be imported/exported. Knowing that my personal goals and progress aren’t being fed to the surveillance machine is a huge plus. It sounds silly, but having one less thing to worry about genuinely provides me more freedom to cultivate a feeling of inner serenity.

Overall, whether you’re coming fresh from reading habit books—like those masterfully written by Fumio Sasaki or James Clear—or if you’re simply looking for a habit tracker app that actually helps, it doesn’t get better than this IMO.

### 5/5 — Perfect
