## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6 — 2026-08-11

Version 1.6 — Late nights and fairer scores.

• New "Day starts at" setting. If you often log habits after midnight, you can push the day rollover to as late as 6 AM — one tap still lands on the day you mean, with no more back-filling through the calendar. Reminders keep their own times, and changing this never moves a completion you've already logged.
• Habits with a "days per week" goal now score correctly. Meeting your weekly target every single week could previously leave the score stuck far below where it belonged.
• The Overview grid now shows completions logged on days the schedule didn't ask for, instead of hiding them as rest days.

### 1.5 — 2026-07-07

Version 1.5 — Support Kadō.

• A new Tip Jar, if you'd like to support Kadō's development. Find it in Settings → Support Kadō. It's entirely optional and unlocks nothing — the whole app stays free, with no ads, no subscription, and no tracking. Thank you for being here.

### 1.4 — 2026-06-14

Version 1.4 — iCloud sync reliability.

• Fixed a crash that could occur on iPad shortly after iCloud sync was enabled. Your habits were always safe — the app just needed to handle data still arriving from iCloud.
• Settings now clearly shows when iCloud sync isn't working, instead of always reporting it as active.

### 1.3 — 2026-05-05

Version 1.3 — Reorder habits and gentle review prompt.

• Drag to reorder: long-press and drag habits on the Today view to arrange them in the order that works for you. Your custom order syncs across devices via iCloud.
• Gentle review prompt: after a week of use, Kadō may ask once if you'd like to rate it. No interruptions, no dark patterns — just a respectful ask you can dismiss forever.

### 1.2 — 2026-04-30

Version 1.2 — Notes, backdate, and month navigation.

• Per-day notes: add a short note to any day's completion — tap a day in the habit detail calendar and type in the note field. Notes are included in JSON exports.
• Backdate completions: log completions for days before the habit was created. Your score, streak, and calendar adjust automatically.
• Month navigation: browse past months in the habit detail calendar with the new ‹ / › arrows. Tap the month title to jump back to today.
