Now my younger 2 year old is doing well learning letter sounds & some basic words. Only the cubes indicated that it’s loading appears. We restarted, change devise… nothing! But once Kahoot bought them you needed subscriptions and different versions and so forth. And Poio I bought but my daughters game keeps restarting, losing all her progress and making her not really want to play any more. Never had tech issues before with DragonBox. Disappointed after buying all the games (not cheap either) they now want me to have a subscription to make it all work seemlessly. Which I can’t even know it will work better then. My daughter is almost 4 and has been using the app for about a month. It’s not cheap and I didn’t want to pay the monthly fee when she’s too young to use most of the other apps but I can see so much improvement in her sounding out words. My only wish with this app was that there was more story content. There’s a short 3 chapter book that she had to collect all the words for and the app will read it to her so that’s great. But she finished it pretty quickly and now is just finding words and spelling them. So we always signed in in some apps successfully but not all the apps. Thanks a lot for the review! ### 5/5 — App not working *2025-10-14, version 7.6.53* This is a marvelous reading app (and I hope that Lahoot kids are working on releasing new books to learn to read!), but since the Halloween upgrade a week ago, it hasn’t worked (it’s completely frozen, unable to do anything but enjoy the spooky music). I’ve contacted the developer, who suggested to check iOS and apps are the current versions. I’ve confirmed all is up to date (it’s auto on my devices), and I haven’t heard back since.
