Crashes at least once a day, can not do multiple tasks at once. Loading photos is extremely slow. There could be many improvements made to this app. Don’t waste the money Use BIM360 or ProCore, both are way more user friendly and have a smoother user interface. This app adds work to my day rather than making the job easier, if the company I work didn’t mandate it I would delete and never look back. ### 1/5 — Crash and burn *2023-01-09* Don’t use this software because all it does is crash while your trying to use it. ### 2/5 — Decent *2022-04-20* There is a huge difference between the desktop app and this mobile app. The content takes an extremely long time to load, which is not ideal ### 1/5 — 0 stars *2021-09-23* Milestones section: You also cannot tell which milestones already have actuals without clicking into them as most of them only show estimated dates. No way to update multiple milestones from the same screen, have to click on each milestone to update. Status/Comments/Info: not accessible from mobile app, must be done from computer. PO/Contract Approval: they fixed the pin bug so I can approve, it just takes for-ev-er to disappear from my inbox after I approve it. File Manager: uploading photos sometimes doesn’t tell me it failed, I find out later when the file is empty. I didn’t see a way to rename files before uploading which would be nice. Meeting minutes: I’ve never tried as it is too clunky to set up initial minutes and you cannot copy templates from master projects. Useless for quick turn projects. Work breakdown structure: doesn’t seem to exist in the app? No way to look at budget/allocations. Overall: there is no heading telling you which project you are updating on every section I have tried to use. It’s the worst for someone who 2nd guesses themselves. I would love to have a mobile friendly way to update my projects, this just isn’t useful. It is at least handy when you are up at 2:30am and remember that a milestone changed but don’t want to get out of bed to open the desktop version... or have 5-7 photos to upload because it’s a pain to transfer from phone to computer to kahua.. but more than a dozen photos will fail because it’ll take so long, you’ll get a phone call and the upload never makes it past the interruption. Feb 2021 Update Still 0 stars. I have no idea why it was important to change the logo from Orange to Blue but apparently it’s more important than ACTUALLY HAVING MOBILE PHOTO UPLOADS SAVE. I lost a bunch of completion photos because I deleted them after I thought they uploaded (in small batches per my earlier review) but whoops! Looking for them at close out and turns out they’ve gone. Thanks Kahua, I’m super glad my company saddled me with this “Sick UI” but terrible product. Update 9/23: Kahua asked me to update. I have to get an email sent in order to do a daily report when I should be able to load the app and go straight to it. With the new update once I open a file I am unable to close out of the file and go back to the search list. If you have any questions or need assistance with setting up or using MFA, please contact our Support team. ### 1/5 — Impressively not useful *2025-03-25* I wish I could give negative stars, trying to be positive but there are so many issues with this but it’s mainly signing in, loading anything, frequent crashes and uploading anything, confusing verbiage and features and when you take a class on how to navigate it better with their team, they spend an hour teaching us how to log in, they try but it’s kinda like my cat bringing me things it’s killed ### 1/5 — TOO TIME CONSUMING TO USE! *2025-03-02* Even with WiFi, the lag is unbearable! The app is glitchy, randomly crashes and you have to redo the daily report over again, photos take forever to upload and sometimes just keeps loading. It’s not user friendly at all! It takes forever to just do 1 daily report! Steadily crashes. Can hardly upload pictures for documentation due to the app steadily crashing. The new Kahua trend is to crash when you try and start a new report. This app is only good for raising blood pressure. Update: It’s gotten even worse. This software is no good for people in the field. Now you have to do a multi verification process which slows down our production to a crawl. I fill out approximately 12 reports a day using this software and on busy days, up to 25. It makes me go through this dual verification process 25 times on days like that and takes up to 15 minutes every time to receive the security code. It often times gets hung up on the “sign in started” screen and you have to request another code. Also, if you have to use this program over 10 minutes at a time then it slows down to a crawl and basically unusable and you have to log out and log back in again. I’ve been in Construction Mgmt. for 26 years, and this is the WORST program that I’ve ever used to write an IDR/DWR.
