I have been going for years and will go out the way to go there instead. I love the new app so far. I was sad that Mistral and Reserve don’t get the extra points but I see that redemption is a bit less points now, so I think that makes up for it. If I could afford to buy a franchise of Kahwa I would! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Adding cards needs HELP! *2024-03-15* I never carry my cards with me - that’s what Apple Pay is for. So for months, if I felt like getting Kahwa while I was out, I couldn’t use the app, because it doesn’t allow you to pay without entering the numbers. THEN when I finally had the card with me, the auto-capture put in the wrong information 🤦🏻‍♀️ So instead of being able to order easily, I had to exit my order, go to my saved cards, delete it, then re-enter the correct numbers manually. AND IT GETS WORSE!! The next time I try to order, IT ASKS ME FOR MY CVV 😫😫😫 That’s the whole point of having the cards saved - so I don’t have to put more numbers in!! Just add Apple Pay!! This is ridiculous! **Developer response:** UPDATE: You can now use Apple Pay when ordering ahead in the app. Order and pay through your phone using Apple Pay and you will earn rewards. Furthermore, by enrolling a credit card it appears to get all transaction data for the card, which leads to a privacy concern. Also, doesn’t work with all credit cards, including the Apple credit card. **Developer response:** Thanks for reaching out to us! We take security very seriously, and for that reason, we have built our product so that we do not store your information anywhere in our system. When you link a card to the app, your card info is sent directly to Visa, MasterCard, etc. This is how you tell them to enroll you in our program. At no point do we ever see, know, or store your card number. This allows us to automatically detect transactions without adding any risk to you, and your card information never even touches our system. ### 1/5 — New App *2024-01-07* The new app refresh and change to rewards, makes the reward process much more difficult. App support can’t even fix it. ### 1/5 — Not Working Well with iOS 13.6 *2020-08-29, version 1.1.1* This app is out of date. It does not support login with Touch-ID or PIN code. It cannot be added to Wallet like my other loyalty cards. It does not allow you be in the loyalty program unless you register a credit card. Not user friendly. Needs update. ### 2/5 — Expand Delivery Locations *2026-03-27, version 47.17.9* Previously you could pick and choose which Kahwa location you would like to order your delivery from. Now it has me defaulted to one location, and the delivery wait time is always over an hour. Due to this update, I rarely order from Kahwa app…which sucks because I have a good mint of loyalty points. Please fix this issue app developers. ### 2/5 — Discounts and delivery times are off *2026-03-12* Points always apply to the lowest cost item. Whether I use 350 or 750 points it only discounts the coffee vs coffee or “hand crafted beverage”, respectively. Delivery times are abysmal. They source through Uber Eats here. Uber Eats is 15min. Kahwa app is over an hour. ### 2/5 — Used to be better *2024-03-23* I used to be able to scan my app at the counter and get rewards points that way. But now they say I need to either link a card to the app (not going to happen) or individually scan receipts. (Much less convenient) ### 2/5 — No Previous Order Option *2022-11-15, version 1.5.0* The option to select a previous order to “re-order” is not functional in the app. I have placed roughly 50 orders through the app and only 2 times has me most recent previous order appeared for me to select. That function is CRITICAL for ease of use and makes this new Kahwa app painful to use. PLEASE fix the list of recent orders or even most recent order so that a user can easily order again without selecting and modifying each item individually. Thank you! **Developer response:** Just wanted to let you know we will be releasing a new version of the app and this feature will be included! Yay!
