## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.6 — 2025-11-16

What’s New (Version 2.6)

What’s New

IKANN & .kai Access
KaiKlok 2.6 introduces IKANN, a DNS extension that lets your device resolve the new .kai domain directly through the system.

New .kai Access panel inside KaiKlok to enable or disable IKANN with a single toggle.

When enabled, Safari and any app using system DNS can reach .kai addresses like verify.kai, sigil.kai, and scroll.kai.

Clear status messaging and safer error handling if configuration or connectivity ever fails.

Under the hood

Improved stability when installing or updating the IKANN configuration.

Small performance and reliability improvements across the app.

Thanks for using KaiKlok—now with native .kai resolution through IKANN.

### 2.5 — 2025-11-08

What’s New in v2.5

• Re‑architected wake gate logic: phantom wake beeps are now fully suppressed unless aligned to the exact boundary—no more double‑chimes.
• Enhanced pulse scheduling engine: micro‑pulse derivation uses exact genesis lock and DispatchSourceTimer alignment for µ‑jitter minimised precision.
• Audio engine polish: loop tone and Fibonacci‑locked chimes now preload more robustly; custom Hz mode supports seamless switching without drop‑outs.
• Haptics refresh: lead‑in haptics at 20 % and 50 % offsets are more reliably timed; accent‑beat logic refined for step 0 emphasis.
• UI & visual improvements: Sigil overlay animations tuned for smoother transition; scrollable mode sheet optimised; external WeekKalendar watch sheet now sole source for calendar logic.
• Code base clean‑up: Removed redundant local panel type definitions to avoid symbol duplication; reverted calendar subsystem for singular source‑of‑truth.
• Stability & performance: Tested on watchOS 10+ with no regressions; scenePhase change hooks fixed for wake/sleep transitions; motion manager update interval locked at 30 Hz for optimal sparkle effect.

We heard your feedback and made these changes for a deeper, cleaner, and more coherent Kai‑time experience. Thank you for synchronising with us.

### 2.4 — 2025-11-06

WHAT’S NEW IN 2.4

NEW - Week Kalendar (watchOS 10+)
- Exact, boundary-aligned scheduler (Genesis + mu-pulse), zero drift
- 6-day Kai week with deterministic chakra colors
- Per-note Beat:Step stamping (11 pulses per step) and creation time
- Panel-only hide (non-destructive), persisted with UserDefaults
- Export notes to Files as JSON or CSV with Kai-tagged filenames
- Haptic confirmation on successful or failed exports
- Compact Day Detail sheet and watch-safe Note Composer

APPLE WATCH COMPANION (Divine Interface)
- Breath-Tick Haptics: a subtle tick every ~5.236 s (one pulse)
- Beat-0 Accent (optional): stronger accent on the first pulse of each step
- Center BB:SS label at the dial center (monospaced)
- Mu-pulse boundary resnap for drift-free alignment

LEGIBILITY
- Arc numerals at 0, 6, 12, 18, 24, 30 placed on the tick ring
- Replaces major ticks at those positions for a cleaner, clearer dial
- Prevents overlap with corner icons; improved top/bottom clipping margins

UI POLISH
- Larger, fuller dial within safe fit; corner icons pinned tighter
- In-face labels refined (pill hierarchy); chakra-colored Day/Month accents
- Consistent monospaced seals ("34:33") across the interface

OFFLINE TRUTH
- Time and value logic continue in Airplane Mode; pulse-driven behavior persists without network

PERFORMANCE & ACCURACY
- Mu-pulse math with ties-to-even beat splitting for exactness
- Independent, boundary-aligned ticker (Genesis-locked) for watch
- Background-safe updates and reduced UI work between pulses

QUALITY & STABILITY
- Safer exports (atomic write) and clearer failure messaging
- Minor compile warnings cleaned up; consistent constant/State handling
- General fit/finish improvements across sheets and rows

"Perpetual Pulse. No top pause."

KaiKlok v2.4 brings a continuous second hand, Fibonacci-tuned harmonic chimes, on-device precision audio scheduling, optional breath affirmations, Resonant Spark motion glow, Seal Moment capture (.session.kai.json), and a fully locked mu-pulse scheduler (T = 3 + sqrt(5) seconds). Runs offline. Watch components work standalone.

Requirement: watchOS 10+ for Week Kalendar.

### 2.3 — 2025-11-05

NEW in 2.3:
• Filling Step Hand: the hand is a hollow track that fills with the current arc color
over the course of the beat (steps 0→44). At step 0 the hand is empty; it fills
smoothly and is perfectly full at the instant the next beat begins.
− Angle of the hand is unchanged (day progress). Only the *length fill* animates by step.
− Zero drift is preserved (μpulse boundary resnap).

### 2.2 — 2025-11-05

What’s New in 2.2 MAJOR WATCHOS UPDATE
Dial & Numerals

Arc numerals (0, 6, 12, 18, 24, 30) now live on the tick row, precisely replacing the removed major ticks for crystal legibility.

Center BB:SS capsule label stays anchored—read your Beat:Step at a glance.

Face expands to max fill (≈99.5% of the shortest side) with tighter corner controls.

Breath, Haptics & Audio

Pulse Haptics: a subtle tick every ~5.236 s entrains your breath eyes-free.

Beat-0 Accent: optional stronger accent on the first pulse of each step (11 pulses/step).

Harmonic Audio Pulse: quick tones (396 / 432 / 528 Hz + Custom) with gentle breath AM.

Kai-Color System

Chakra-colored Day/Month numerals in the in-face label and D/M/Y pill for instant state awareness.

Zero-Drift Fidelity

μpulse boundary lock: per-pulse hard re-snap guarantees alignment with the exact Kai boundary—no drift.

Controls, Overlays & Flow

Persistent toggles (@AppStorage): Pulse Haptics, Beat-0 Accent, Whisper Affirmations.

Scrub Preview: Digital Crown scrubbing with a light click at step boundaries.

Sigil Overlay: double-tap to reveal; long-press to capture a sealed moment to your vault.

Week Kalendar (watch): dedicated sheet added and optimized for the wrist.

Corner iconography tucked closer to edges for a cleaner hero dial.

Polish & Accessibility

Smoother seal transitions, small accessibility tweaks, and stability improvements across the board.

Attempted concealment of system Chronos time where watchOS permits.

As always: 6 arks/day • 36 beats/day • 44 steps/beat • 11 pulses/step • Year = 8×42 = 336 days.
