## What is Kairo?

Kairo is a grounded question-and-answer guide for the Catholic faith. Ask about
faith, prayer, morality, or Church teaching — and get an answer drawn from the
Church's own documents, with a citation for every claim.

GROUNDED IN THE SOURCES
• Answers cite the Catechism, the Code of Canon Law, and the General
  Instruction of the Roman Missal
• Tap any citation to read the passage inline, with a link to the official text
• Where the sources don't cover a question, Kairo says so rather than guess

BUILT FOR REAL QUESTIONS
• Ask in plain language — "What is confession?" or "What does the Church teach
  about the Eucharist?"

WHAT IT ISN'T
Kairo offers educational guidance. It is not a priest, confessor, or spiritual
director, and it does not issue binding judgments. It explains and cites; for
spiritual direction, talk to your priest.

  the Archdiocese of St. Louis, with directions and phone
  numbers. Works offline.
- Pray Morning, Evening, and Night Prayer. The Hours tab
  opens on the hour that fits the time of day.

More of the Church's own words, and a clearer look at where every answer comes from.

- Sacred Scripture is now a source. Ask about a passage and Kairo can cite the Bible right alongside the Catechism and Canon Law.
- Catholic social teaching joins the library. Answers can now draw on the great social encyclicals, from Rerum Novarum onward.
- New Sources panel. Tap to see exactly which documents Kairo reads from, so you always know what's behind an answer.
