## What is KakuCut?

Edit with confidence and fine-tune your captions and video. Your footage stays on your iPhone—no uploads required.

KakuCut is a local video editor designed for creating captions and shaping your story directly on iPhone.

Import up to ten video clips, arrange and trim your edit, then generate editable captions on supported devices. Fine-tune the text, timing, style, and placement before exporting a finished MP4 video or a separate SRT subtitle file.

With KakuCut, you can:
• Generate captions from your video’s speech
• Edit caption text and timing
• Import and export SRT subtitle files
• Customize caption fonts, colors, backgrounds, and placement
• Karaoke captions that highlight each word as it is spoken
• Short-form caption styles with custom colors and translucent boxes
• Trim, split, and rearrange video clips
• Record voiceovers, enhance voices, reduce noise, and adjust audio volume
• Export MP4 videos with captions

Your selected footage and project data stay on your device while you edit. No account is required, and your source videos do not need to be uploaded.

Requires iOS 17 or later. Automatic caption availability varies by device, language, iOS version, and Apple speech-model support.
