This is probably one of the best kakuro games on the AppStore. However that does not mean it doesn’t have its flaws. After a while, I stopped getting the daily points. Often the game will crash and wipe all the progress you’ve made on a puzzle. If it weren’t for these issues it would be 5 stars from me.

EDIT: I found the “missing” feature I mentioned below (tap the ? icon), so I can now endorse this game fully.  

I like the overall design and play mechanics. However, the game gives hints that I don’t want like displaying the possible number combinations for the active cell, and highlighting mistakes. This would be fine if there was an option to turn these features off, but there isn’t. I hope options are added in future versions, then I may revisit this game, since I really love solving Kakuro (but not with hints).

Can’t believe I found this in the App Store. Been watching for it after playing on my Android. Plays and looks fabulous on my iPad Pro. Simple play, easy, medium and hard boards as you move down the levels. Thanks for porting to iOS.

A very good game and fun to do but the annoying flash at the top detracts. Not sure what the advertiser wants me to do. Can I buy the app and get rid of the flash?

Sur les 5 apps de kakuro que j’ai téléchargé, je ne garde que celle-ci. Plein de grilles, bonne ergonomie, nettoyage automatique des notes, affichage des combinaisons possibles... tout y est.
Un bémol: les grilles difficiles ( niveau 10 ) sont vraiment trop difficiles pour moi.
 De loin la meilleure app.

Starting with level eight, I have found puzzles that do not have a solution.  A bit sloppy on the part of the developers not to have eliminated unresolvable combinations.

**Developer response:** I'm a bit surprised by your message. All the puzzles has been doubled checked (human test, and computer test). Can you please tell me which puzzle number you think has a problem, so I can check it and replace it if necessary.

I just realized that all of the levels (or at least past 100) are the same five layouts. The last page of levels has the exact same pattern in each level. Make the levels unique or make it randomly generate the puzzles. Until then, 1 star.

If you do all of the levels in order, why does it give you the same puzzle over and over? I love the concept and the game play, but this is seriously killing any joy. Level 0 from 150 something to 160 something...same puzzle :(

It works well most of them time, and is great for a free app. However, there are some basic quality control issues that the devs could have caught. For example, the exact same level 0 puzzle appears dozens of times.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your comment. There was such a problem some time ago: some level 0 puzzles not loading correctly. It has been solved in the last version of Kakuro++. Upgrading will probably solve this issue.

Debería tener “undo”

**Developer response:** Si quieres "undo", tienes que tocar la flecha roja entre los dos teclados. Puedes Undo hasta 100 acciones (he aumentado este número de 50 en la última versión). Por favor, envíeme un correo electrónico (kakuro@gameproject.fr) si necesita ayuda para usarlo.

Jeu prenant et qui fait un peu réfléchir. Par contre en version papier dans une grille on ne peut pas utiliser deux fois la même somme ( par exemple pour 8 on aura 1 2 et 5 et 1 3 et 4, pas deus fois l’une des possibilités)pour obtenir un nombre est-ce le cas ici?

**Developer response:** Bonjour, merci pour votre message. Il existe à ma connaissance deux variantes du jeu:
-les "nombres fléchés" ( édités par l'entreprise Sport Cérébral), les règles de cette version stipulent qu'on ne peut pas avoir deux fois la même séquence de chiffres dans une grille
-le Kakuro, qui n'impose pas cette règle.
En tant que joueur, j'aime bien la contrainte apportée par la règle des Nombres Fléchés, mais le Kakuro est bien plus connu de part le monde. Avec ses règles (un peu) moins contraignantes, mais très efficaces quand même.

Good game but 1) It has ads which are supposed to be videos but only point to a web site which doesn’t provide to any path to allow a game to be played at that level.
2) I cannot find anything that explains what the checkmark with a number signifies and how it works to help one find an error.

What a wonderful “temper” management game.  Currently, on level 8.  As a mathematician, this is a fun diversion, especially in a waiting room; or any situation where a diversion is desirable.  Your set up is well-done & easy to use.  Thank you.

Really good and well thought out in the main. Spoilt by the need to scroll through several pages to reach the puzzle you want. Also invaded by Google ads that can only be removed by switching off pad.

I’m used to doing “Killer Kakuro” books with large puzzles and this app is the only app I’ve seen so far that has promise. 

To the makers: can you make a setting option to have the number pads on opposite sides? aka so the number pad to input square possibilities (little numbers) is on the left while the number pad to enter the answer would be on the right? 

I would pay for an app that had bigger puzzles. If y’all make it happen, I’ll pay for the upgrade.
